Here are some quotes from world news:. (sources anonymous for safety).

Mediterranean women, and women of African descent, some in high places of world authority, encouraged "women around the globe" to believe in themselves that they are "not less important than men."
Some slogans said, "We are Power" and younger women:. "Girl Power".

The day dates back to 1917 in Europe, and was established by the U.N. - United Nations in 1975 officially to honor women's historical social, economic, and political accomplishments, and help women around the world work towards equal pay for working women, (outside the home) and protection from religious persecution, coercion, and physical abuses, verbal abuse and assaults of any kind.

A scene from the movie, "Jesus of Nazareth," (all- star cast including British actors/actresses Robert Powell as Jesus, and Olivia Hussey as Mary; a Franco Zefferelli film; 1976)

In this YouTube video, Jesus saves a woman from a street mob:

Personally I see the day as secular, I don't see any parallel with Jesus. Yes, Jesus treated women well, but I don't think He'd have supported feminism as we know it today.

I agree. This is an elevation of self-grandeur. Jesus gave the most precious physical gift(in my opinion) to women; the ability create and sustain life. Unfortunately to some that is now considered a detriment instead of the prior.

Yes, this is true and so sad. They have sold women a bill of goods, and all it was was ashes.

Knowing about the scandal of pedophile rabbis we know many of them were secret perverts.

I don't think we need to always honour what the world honours.
King Jesus is the biggest liberator of women the world has ever- or will ever see.
The third wave feminism we are witnessing today isn't about freedom & equality of opportunity for women.
It's about female supremacy.

Who are you talking about?
Awful scandal of Jew rabbis pedophiles with boys they are supposed ot be teaching.
the boys and families you accept it as it is thought unacceptable to cause a scandal by revealing the pedophila.
But then when you realise the Jews of Jerualem are actually practically the Canaanites what can you expect?
