Is Satan a real being?

Yet again I've come to look around a supposedly Christian forum only to find members stating there is no Satan or spirit world despite everything the Bible says!
Why do so many people deny Satan is a real evil being?

Ohh I know Satan is a real being and I know there is a spirit realm that we humans don't fully understand.

Ephesians 6 is a good passage to read.

1. Some people simply cannot handle the truth.

2. Some people hate the truth.

3. Some people prefer denial to reality.

4. Some people refuse to believe the Bible, and that it is actually God's revelation to man.

5. Some people attack the Bible and Bible doctrines.

6. Some people think they are too *enlightened* to believe this rubbish.

7. Some people are plain afraid of Hell but do not obey the Gospel.

Lots of pagan ideas have influenced the Christian church ever since the Romans killed so many Jewish Christian leaders that ex pagan men became Christian leaders. It is the reason we worship on the day the pagans worshiped their gods, they changed gods but not days. It is the reason the Christian celebrations follow pagan days and the seven feasts celebrating God's salvation is ignored as only fleshly celebrations. Paul believed in the feasts as it tells us in
Acts 18:21 But he took leave of them saying "I must by all means keep this coming feast------.

When God led Paul in telling us to not follow the fleshly commandments like fleshly circumcision and special diet because of the new covenant, because Jews were following the fleshly commands leading to the spiritual ones and ignoring the spirit of the lord, because pagans didn't identify their gods with their nationality any longer so Jews didn't need to be set apart, then the Christians sort of threw out the baby with the bath water. They needed to be told to obey in the spirit.

So are you suggesting that the biblical doctrine about Satan is simply a pagan idea?

Because they fear satan and want to believe anyone who preaches that satan does not exist.. They embrace the deception and live in a delusion..

Of course satan /devil / exists and is a spirit..

As for Christian forum issue.. No one has a Christian detector device able to identify false Christians and block them from entering a forum to push their wonky doctrinal beliefs.. So in any ""Christian forum"" you are going to run into Jehovah's witnesses, catholics, mormons, seventh day Adventists and wonky individuels who will be pushing what ever it is they have been decieved with.. It's up to the person visiting forums to take what ever they here and conpare it with the Word of God..

Scripture is breathed by the Lord and because it is about the spiritual world and we are in the flesh you can spend a lifetime learning from it and each day would bring you closer to true reality.

My response is that people insert many pagan ideas into Christianity, not just the pagan idea of who and what Satan is.

Since we find Satan from Genesis to Revelation, you are now suggesting that the Bible is a pagan document. How foolish.

It is an open forum much like the world in so many ways.

I asked a simple question that every Christian should be able to answer.

Look for those who believe God, and avoid those who do not. God bless you always..

I said nothing about Satan being a stupid myth.

Yes, Lucifer, demons, devils, principalities, unclean spirits are all real. Do you know is really disturbing, all of these beings know the value of humans to God. Much more than us humans do. That’s why they seek to destroy our relationship with our Father.

What he said is that refusing to believe that Satan is real is plain stupidity. And there is a lot of stupidity all around us.
