Free will = salvation by Obedience = works.
While I understand this...you have not really really responded to my posts with regards to the will being bound?

Arminianism teaches what is called, prevenient grace. Meaning God bestows on a person who would not naturally be inclined to believe in or follow Him, His grace so that the person is then able to freely choose to follow, believe in, God.

Calvinism is the creation of John Calvin and includes five points known as TULIP, that all pertain to God acting to cause people He predestined for His grace and Salvation. Calvinism is not supported by the Gospel.

It's not an either or prospect. Either you are Arminian or Calvinist. We are still able to be Christians and not embrace Arminianism nor Calvinism.

I think it's dangerous to corral the collection of one's doctrinal beliefs under labels like this.
But they do help in discerning what church you should stay away from and not waste any time attending.

Free will is the savior.
Free will is like a path, or a door that God opens up between himself and a person so they can come to the One who can save them and He can come to them.

they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. - Acts 14:27

God does that by instilling faith in the heart of a person through the testimony of the Holy Spirit.

The will of the flesh cannot discern Christ and love him. John says “Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:13 (KJV 1900)

That's what the testimony of the Holy Spirit is for.

No Free Will;

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19–21 (KJV 1900)

Free Will;

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Galatians 5:22–24 (KJV 1900)

But the will is bound by sin until after being born again. Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit;

Physical Israel is in the Bible, therefore it’s biblical. God is not finished dealing with them.
Only those who accept Jesus will be reattached to Biblical Israel.

“And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.” Romans 11:23 (KJV 1900)

Well this is interesting but not really what scripture is stating.

If we were not able to make decisions, exert our will, about committing sin to some degree the entire population would be behind bars.

You can choose sin but not righteousness unless born again. Whatever is not of Faith (a fruit of the Holy Spirit) is sin.

But the will is bound by sin until after being born again.
The testimony of the Holy Spirit is sufficient to release the will of a person to accept Jesus as Savior.

6 the Spirit it is that is testifying, because the Spirit is the truth
10 He who is believing in the Son of God, hath the testimony in himself; he who is not believing God, a liar hath made Him, because he hath not believed in the testimony that God hath testified concerning His Son

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, if not please move.

What is your view on arminianism and Calvinism? I know it can be a contentious topic so let's all be nice and civil. I'm just curious as to what my fellow brothers and sisters view, opinions, and feelings are.
I think the fruit of both has shown that they are both wrong. That while they have some things correct the sum total is wrong, and critically and dangerously wrong. Half truths are still not the truth.

Now that you have to be born again to do.
You can not live in righteousness until you are born again.
The Pharisees show human righteousness at it's highest level.

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 (KJV 1900)
And then the Holy Spirit testifies showing the perishing that the gospel is for real and not foolishness so they can then trust in Christ and be saved.
