Trump: climate change "scientifically irrefutable"

I never believed in AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming) mainly because my undergrad degree was in physical geography and environmental studies. There is utterly no proof that CO2 is warming the atmosphere. In Atmospheric Sciences, I learned the biggest influences on climate change were the sun, the water cycle, the oceans, and land occurrences like volcanoes.

Right now, the sun is in a Maunder Minimum. No sun spots! So, all that extra heat is not being thrown out by the sun. The mean temperature of the earth is going down. Glaciers are growing, the ocean levels are the same. If you plot a chart with the actual global temperatures, in relationship to volcanic eruptions, the cold periods, including the Little Ice Age in Europe in the 16th century are directly proportional to the amount of volcanoes erupting. When Mt. Krakatoa erupted like a boiler explosion in the 1880s, the mean temperature of the earth was lowered 2 degrees! There were vivid sunsets around the world, due to the added particulate matter. Had that kept up, we would have been in another ice age.

Periods like the Roman Empire and the Middle Ages were a time when civilization flourished. There were few volcanoes, and the earth heated up. And everything was better - more food was the result of higher temperatures and longer growing seasons.

The earth is cooling right now. But the stupid scenarios of the models by the IPCC and NOAA are wrong. They threw out all the data concerning cold and warm periods, except a recent few years, and predicted things were getting warmer. We should never predict weather or climate on the basis of models, but rather on the basis of actual data.

There is so much more! Like, the earth is greening wonderfully since the level of CO2 went up. We were almost at a point of no return with the small amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, which the plants require to grow. CO2 is a good thing, and has virtually nothing to do with climate change. It is just a globalist way to try and scare people, limit society and collect a lot of money in taxes which goes to the people in control, to enrich themselves. We won't even get into what a flop green energy is. I could rant forever!

Now what about Carbon ? Was it created creation week ? Can Carbon be created by man ? And more oil, gas, and coal fields are being discovered all the time where-as when Rockefeller discovered oil it was thought a rare find only in Pennsylvania .. Before that we were harvesting whales for oil , then Texas, then oil started being found every where as time moved on .. Israel was thought for yrs to be one of the only countries without oil in the middle east and very recently have discovered more than they could use, one field I think ten times thicker/deeper volume deposit than a normal oil field .. Texas discovered a couple new fields to make the US the top producer of energy on earth since Trump .. And old fields they thought were depleted are filling back up, in other places Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, Brazil are just a few where giant new fields are being found .. I was no fan of Chaves but when oil was over a hundred dollars a barrel he offered to supply the world for a couple hundred yrs for 50 dollars a barrel .. So all this abundance of oil makes me wonder what's behind the green energy/global warming thingy knowing how hard Rockefeller tried to corner the market . Our co2 ppm atmospheric content is at a recorded all time low 250-400 ppm is nothing and actually is bad for plants, compared to 1200 ppm or more it used to be .. They pipe it direct to green houses now and Japanese Dr Kai Mori at Japan university put a cherry tomato plant under pressure with co2 (80's I think) and the cherry tomatoes were huge, the size of baseballs, and grew so big he transplanted it to a mall or something where it produced thousands of tomatoes, grew so tall they used ladders and it lived for years ..
Then you have methane literally bubbling out of the oceans, some even theorize giant methane releases causes ship to lose buoyancy in the devils triangle and planes to lose fire because of oxygen replaced by methane concentrated air bubbles .. I don't know about all that though until they prove it .

My actual intent in starting this thread was just to express surprise that at one time Trump was a huge climate change supporter.

Lots of people believed it .. Not as many any more though, even though they won't stop lying about it .. I hate liars and thieves ..

I don't know what connection to GCC it has, but this old man has witnessed substantial changes in weather patterns over the past 75 years.

I do hope that we leave our grandchildren a better earth to live on than we had when we started our lives. That would include a cleaner environment.

Climate change is a farce, one to help invoke the will of the political and social elite. They preach one thing yet live in the opposite manner. It’s OK for these leftist socialites to drive SUVs and fly in private planes but they want us sheep to take public transportation. Their hypocrisy is unabated and pathetic.

Remember this, one volcanic eruption spews more carbon monoxide than humans have produced since the start of the Industrial Revolution.

I'm undecided about the farce part, but I've heard about the SUV's, etc. That is hypocritical for those who do it, I agree.
