"At my death I don't believe I will stand before a God." Really?? Well, you're partly right, you won't stand before A god, you'll stand before THE GOD..

You say death isn't far away at your age.. So do something about your spiritual status while you can.. What's stopping you?
I am quite comfortable with my Spiritual Status

What informed you and/or who told you what your spiritual status is? Would you mind sharing with us what you believe it to be, or what you believe in general as regards to spirituality? My apologies if you have already done this and I missed it.

No apologies necessary. No one has told me what my spiritual status is nor do they have to.My spiritual status is self discovered and learned and is of importance only to me and not others.

I wonder why you say your spiritual status is not important to others when so many have expressed concern regarding it.

Mr. Lon, your eternal destination is of importance to me. You are created in the image of God and you have great worth.

I have to wonder if perhaps you had an earthly father who disappointed or hurt you. Is this why you resist the Holy One?

This is sure:
"It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'" Romans 14:11

Your tongue one day will acknowledge God. I truly do hope you choose to believe and acknowledge now and be saved from the wrath to come.

Both my parents were Christians I believe. Dad a Seventh Day Adventist and Mother a Baptist. I don't know if If I was ever baptised or if I was ever born again.
The first question you must ask yourself is Do i believe Jesus? You may need to investigate His Gospel to answer this question...

The Next question you must ask yourself is. Do i trust that what Jesus did on the cross pays the penalty for my own transgressions against the will of God?

If you can say Yes to both questions then you are a Christian..

if both parents are Christians
If only one parent is Christian. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 7:14, that the children of Christians are clean
The children are exposed to a clean place. The hearing of the faith of Christ . But tasting of the good things to come does not make them clean.

Parents can plant the incorruptible seed and water it with the gospel the water of the word .But Christ must cause the new life and therefore growth if any.

The scripture does not make that statement. It says the children are clean, so therefore as long as they are under the umbrella of their Christian parent they are clean. When they are no longer under that umbrella then there is personal accountability. Have they kept or reject what the parents gave them? In the case of the OP it seems he has rejected and has put himself outside of the body of Christ. The good news is that if he were to stop rejecting he could be restored, the bad news is he don't much seem interested in laying down his rejection.

its better that you know then pretend before God.
God is not a man that he can lie...the Lord couldnt do the things hes done for us if he was just human.

Praying that you really get to know Him.

secular groups are all fine and they do a lot but they are missing eternal life if they are merely concerned about themselves.

Please turn to Christ while you still have time @Lon1934 ... He loves you so much and He wants you to be born again through the Spirit of God... Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and to fill you with His Holy Spirit. Ask Him to help you to have faith if you don't have any... No one is promised tomorrow. I believe the fact that you are here today on this forum means that God wants to reach you and save you before it's too late. He is a merciful and loving God and His wish is for you to get cleansed from sin by the blood of Christ so you can stand as a righteous man before Him on judgement day. Please consider my words and read the Gospels... especially the book of John.
You can read it here: https://biblehub.com/bsb/john/1.htm

May the Lord open your eyes to the truth and may you answer His call... In Jesus' name.

Curiosity and a interest in how secular groups impact society and the world in general.
It is not difficult to ascertain that since Christian morals and prayers were taken out of the educational curriculum, the whole moral fabric of society has plummeted, and the downfall escalates with the leftist, atheist, and gay agendas. Christians are not blind to the fact that many who claim they agitate for tolerance are intolerant of Christianity... while they embrace the barbarity of Islam.
