I am a supporter of the third solution.. Jesus died on Wednesday 3m and was raised from the dead at sundown Saturday..
The problems the video make came up with are no problems at all..
Problem one.. The prophecy Never said that Jesus would be dead for 3 days and 3 nights... This is what the video maker is thinking because he has a problem with the extra 3 hours from Saturday 3m to sundown 6"pm Saturday.. The prophecy states that Jesus would spend 3 days and night IN THE EARTH.. Meaning He would spend 3 days and nights in the tomb.. And He did with the third solution.. Jesus died at 3m but the one that buried him had to go to Pilate and ask for the body of Jesus so that he would be burred before sunset which was the beginning of the HIGH sabbath.. So they buried Jesus at Sundown Wednesday..
Problem two..
He talked about the preparation day for the Sabbath.. Note there where TWO Sabbath days in the week Jesus was executed.. The Normal 7th day sabbath at the end of the week Friday sunset to Saturday sunset.. And what the Bible calls a High Sabbath day which fell yearly on the day after the day of Passover.. After Passover the next 7 days was the feat of the unleavened bread and the first day of unleavened bread is a High Sabbath.. We read in the OT these yearly Sabbaths.. Days of holy convocation where not work was to be done..
In context::
Leviticus 23: KJV
4 "¶ These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. {5} In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’S Passover. {6} And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. {7} In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein."
So the day after Passover was Not the normal weekly 7th day Sabbath but the High Sabbath that only happened once a year on the day after the Passover..
This guy had to create a wonky false interpretation to include the suffering of Jesus on the cross to be a part of His 3 days and 3 nights in the earth.. This is just wrong.. Jesus was Not in the earth when He was being crucified.. His body entered into the earth on Wednesday sunset.. And He was raised from the dead at the start of the first day of the week Saturday sunset.. 3 Days and 3 nights just as the prophecy had promised..
I have a website you can have a look at on this subject..
