The mother of a co-worker of mine suffered a major nervous breakdown over this past weekend. He's taking 2 weeks of emergency leave to attend to her situation. Apparently, she has some psychological issues in the past and is on medication which, under the current situation, has reached its end. He has many decisions to make in the upcoming days: increasing to stronger meds, live in care or even the possibility of having her institutionalized. Please keep him (and her) in prayer.
Prayer is by far the most powerful pill there is. It is first and foremost and above all other treatments. God made that brain and can reprogram it at any time He so chooses. He wants to, but is waiting to see if we will first ask, believe, and then receive. Believing He can do anything and do it easily is much more important than receiving the answer that we deire.
Hebrews 11
11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
