2 Timothy 1:9 Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
AMEN.......keep swinging Star.........a breath of fresh air in the midst of those that devalue JESUS

well then no one will ever be in his presence. because all are incorruptible

Sometimes I do not think you actually think things through when you speak.

It is GOd who washes us, we are totally incaple of washing ourself
Funny thing.....his words flat dent the truth every time he speaks....

Concerning the resurrection from the dead (and NOTE this is NOT until the resurrection)

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Truths the salvation losers and self maintained salvation gurus reject and or ignore....

Jesus hung on the cross, took the sins of the whole world upon his shoulders and he that knew no sin became a SIN offering in our stead.

JESUS said....IT IS FINISHED <----the words used to translate this come from terminology that is a LEGAL ACCOUNTING phrase and = PAID IN FULL.

THE ONLY sin NOT covered is to blaspheme the HOLY SPIRIT which in context boils down to UNBELIEF into the work of CHRIST as being from GOD. It is to APPLY the work of CHRIST to the POWER of the devil which is a permanent state of UNBELIEF into JESUS.....

A person that WILL NOT BELIEVE that CHRIST is from GOD and WHO HE SAYS HE IS will remain LOST in SIN......JESUS told the PHARISEES that WHERE HE IS GOING they cannot come because they had rejected HIM and will DIE IN THEIR SINS

MY bible is clear....for a believer....GRACE out bounds SIN because SIN has BEEN paid for IN FULL and dealt with at the CROSS.....THE blood of CHRIST, and Christ mediating for SIN is PREEMPTIVE for a genuine believer.

PAUL, as WE ARE, was accused of a live as you please and sin as you like LIE because he rightfully stated clearly that SIN NO LONGER has any power over a BELIEVER and BECAUSE GRACE COVERS any and ALL SIN in a believer. THIS is not to say we can live as we please as they like to falsely accuse of US, but rather....INSTEAD OF being CAST AWAY AS LOST, we are FORGIVEN, CHASTENED and RESTORED......

I for one am SICK of the people on this site that devalue JESUS, HIS BLOOD and HIS SACRIFICE by saying clearly that it is NOT GOOD ENOUGH......GOD was clear...

WHEN I SEE the BLOOD I WILL PASS OVER YOU!

One of Satans tricks is to lull us into a false sense of security.

Anyone who claims doubting at times is sinful is just plain wrong. No human being lives who does not at one time or another have doubts. One of Satan's best tricks is simply saying God won't love us anymore if we have doubts. What a fallacy. Read all the Psalms and educate yourself about David, doubts, and God's loving solutions for us all.

To add works to faith, and not believe God is to treat God as unholy.

Numbers 20:12
"Because you have not Believed me, to treat me as HOLY in the sight of the sons of Isreal, therefore you shall bring the assembly into this land which I have given them.

May God have mercy on them here, as they persist in their unbelief

AMEN STAR......the tragic truth of the following words....both he, judges and a few others DO EXACTLY THIS by the dogma they peddle....

The following quote is exactly what salvation losers do...the bible teaches eternal security and they constantly undermine it by skewed scriptures, out of context scriptures, denying verb tense and the very verbiage of the bible. They say you are ONLY SAVED if you jump through religious hoops a thru d...........MY bible states clearly that ETERNAL life is GIVEN at the moment of BELIEF....NO strings attached

Another thing that sickens me is this self maintained salvation that states we MUST maintain our faith....let's look at the facts......

2nd Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. <----This was written to Timothy by Paul. Both are saved, immersed children of GOD. One is an Apostle the other a Pastor teacher......PAUL includes himself within the context by the use of WE......WHY can he say this......? Because he KNOWS the following truths......

A man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ; we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ."

In the grace we are, having been SAVED out of FAITH, and that NOT of ourselves, IT IS THE GIFT of GOD and NOT of works LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but think of yourself with sober judgment, according to the measure of faith God has given you.

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. <---GIFTS is PLURAL and applies to ANY and ALL gifts given by GOD, even the CALL of GOD is irrevocable.

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified

PAUL fully understood that FAITH was a gift, dealt in measure by GOD unto MAN. He fully understood that it is the faith of CHRIST that saves us, justifies us and JESUS was the AUTHOR and FINISHER of said faith IN ALL that genuinely BELIEVE.

PAUL KNEW that EVEN IF we become FAITHLESS after INITIAL FAITH that JESUS being TRUE to his word and the GIFT of FAITH being IRREVOCABLE that JESUS would INDEED FINISH what he started IN US......

Make NO MISTAKE........the salvation losers deny the above truths. They place MAINTAINING faith and salvation squarely on the shoulders of MEN and IN so doing equate JESUS and PAUL to liars. They make JESUS into an INEPT liar that cannot keep his word and or FINISH what he started in a man.....

It is sickening, it is false and it for sure OPPOSES the GOD of HEAVEN and HIS SON JESUS!

You sure about that?

Did not Jesus walk with corruptible people whilst on earth (side note is he interceding for corruptible people in heaven)

Did he not seek out Adam when he sinned?
Clothed him?

Did he not use Moses the murderer?
Burning bush and all that?

Did he reject the man after his own heart?
The guy who committed murder, adultery. A guy called David.
How many of the 10 commandments did he break?

What about Peter?

The incorruptible God seeks after the corruptible.
Thats why he came in the flesh.

And Jesus showed that.
There will not be good and evil in heaven.

Thank God for His word , and the helmet of our Salvation ...
We are to read the word daily so we know the schemes of satan ...

Those who are in Christ have no fear of being robbed , for by grace we have been SAVED...

Satan will always come after us , he hates who we now belong to , but guess what , God is more powerful against the darkness and the principalities of this world , we are in our Fathers hands forever and ever...
True but we need to be on our guard against the devil.

good luck staying the course of your own power. We are not redeemed by staying toe course, we are redeemed by the blood.

if you continue trying to do it by your power. it would not be wise to tell God you were not trying to earn your salvation.

Many will say on that day all the works they did, Jesus will tell them flat out. Depart. I never knew you

you would be wise to give it all to him, and stop trying to earn it.
Trust in God.

2nd Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
we see this in action with st.peter he denied the Lord and was still an apostle afterwards.

but i got question, with that example of st.peter and 2 timothy 2:13, why did Jesus also say:

Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

according to that st.peter should of been done with. but he wasnt, why does that verse even exist? what does matthew 10:33 mean? in same book matthew chapter 26 we see st.peter do just that and nothing came of it. why?

I wasn't talking about doubting.
