God still has a plan for the literal land and people of Israel.
The Land was given to the descendants of Isaac by God and not to the descendants of Ishmael.

Do you deny Romans 2:28-29?
This is being written to the Jewish people. The chapter before that deals with Gentiles. Paul is telling the Jewish people, who being chosen and boast in following the law, that that is not what saves them. It's not the outward appearance but it's a heart matter. He is speaking to the Jews. It does not say Christians replace the Jews. Ch.1 is dealing with the unrighteousness of the Gentiles and 2 is dealing with the Jews. Paul is saying you boast in the law but you don't follow it. Christians are grafted in, they in no way replace the Jewish people.

Jewish have been designated Israel over and over in the Bible from God Himself. This doesn't mean others are excluded. See the videos "Against All Odds' that shows God's miraculous hand in recent wars, saving the Jews from destruction. He will back His promises always.

I can't believe that this is even an argument among Christians. If you have read the New Testament you would understand. Anyone calling the mission to save Jews replacement theology are denying the Word of God. Replacement theology is a lie that will permanently separate the Jew from God. Jesus is God and there is no other way to the Father God except through Christ Jesus.

John 14:6
Jesus said unto him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

If you have a minister saying that you do not need to preach salvation to the Jews he is wrong and misleading you. This isn't replacement of the Jew. They are Jews but they also must be saved. They must accept Jesus Christ as Savior to be saved. To come to the Father.

To the two red marks, so you are telling me Christians are Jews?! What Bible are you all reading!? smh Unreal.
Aren't they? Aren't we? Jesus is a Jew. He is our savior. We are grafted in. If Jew means chosen of God surely we are. I don't call myself a Jew, I call myself Christian. But all the first Christians were Jews. With Christ there is no separation. Only religion creates the difference. The Jews still follow the Law. Christians follow Christ Jesus and the New Covenant, but Jews can be Christians. Because we know that none come to the Father except through Christ.

Why the Messianic Jews in Israel are under persecution. Because they are saved through the blood of Jesus Christ. Doesn't change that they are Jewish. But the Jewish religion is Jewish because of their rejection of Christ. Because even though the OT revealed Christ they chose not to accept him. And to this day they reject him. That is what makes them Jews. Rejecting Christ Jesus.

Deuteronomy 7:6-8 6For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. 7The LORD did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 8But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

1 Peter 2:8-9
The Living Stone
…8and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they disobey the word—and to this they were appointed. 9But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 10Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.…

No, we are not Jews. Nor are we the chosen people. Rom. 11 makes that clear.

Christians follow Christ Jesus and the New Covenant, but Jews can be Christians. Because we know that none come to the Father except through Christ.
Yes,I agree.

And to this day they reject him. That is what makes them Jews. Rejecting Christ Jesus
They reject Christ because they have been blinded, for a time. Then, as Romans says, when all the Gentiles come in they will come to know their Messiah.

I think its an argument since Paul's time. He wrote a whole letter - the book of Galatians - to refute it. But some seem still to resist.

Never said the Jews didn't have to come thru Christ, never said they shouldn't be reached and preached the Gospel. I did say we have not replaced the Jews as Gods chosen people. There are still promises to the Jews that God will fulfill that have nothing to do with us.

There is no replacement. Jesus was the promise and they rejected him. Here is what Jesus had to say in John 8. I would read the entire chapter

Dispute Over Whose Children Jesus’ Opponents Are
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”
34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.[b]”
39 “Abraham is our father,” they answered.
“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would[c] do what Abraham did. 40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41 You are doing the works of your own father.”
“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”
Jesus’ Claims About Himself
48 The Jews answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?”
49 “I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. 50 I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge. 51 Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”
52 At this they exclaimed, “Now we know that you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death. 53 Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are?”
54 Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. 55 Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”
57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”
58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

I agree that we do not refer to ourselves as Jews. But we are grafted into the lineage. All of the first Christians were Jews. Jesus is a Jew. We are Sons and Daughters of the Risen King. Jesus Christ, Jew and Son of God. He is our lineage now. As Christian we are a Royal Priesthood. God does not favor the Jews or promise them anything that Jesus didn't come and preach to them. He came as the promise prophesied to them in the Old Testament. I put the link above. That is what they have from God. Jesus.
Study This1 Peter 2:4-12

1 Peter 2:4-12 New International Version (NIV)
The Living Stone and a Chosen People
4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For in Scripture it says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.”[b]

7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,
“The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”[c]
8 and,
“A stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.”[d]
They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Once we were not a people. Who? Us that is who. We weren't and now we are Gods people. Chosen a Royal Priesthood. What is a Priesthood?

No, you're still denying that the Jews are God's chosen people. They have never stopped being His chosen people. There are promises yet to be fulfilled to them that has nothing to do with the church. And they will come the same way that we all do, through the cross. They are blinded, for a time, but they will come to see He was the Messiah and be saved.

I have stayed away a couple days because I don't want to argue. Maybe it would help if you could describe through scripture what promises that God gave that were not fulfilled through Christ. I don't want to push. I said it was hard to believe because I do feel very strongly. However it could be that we will just have to accept that we have a theological difference. I would prefer to see how you come to your point of view though with scriptural references.

I appreciate your attitude brother or sister... I just realized CC has changed it so we cannot tell anymore. So annoying. Before I get into your question further I must ask,do you believe Israel becoming a country again has any Biblical significance? I suppose there is where we would start.

Sister. I believe that all promises have been fulfilled through Jesus Christ. I believe that the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is Israel. The Bible tells us that there are neither Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female. All one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galations 3:23-29

As a Christian I think of God. Creator of Heaven and Earth. Why would God give his Chosen people a very tiny piece of land? Oh they fight for the land, and they don't even realize the promise they have. Gods love for his Sons and Daughters is much, much greater. In Matthew 24 Jesus describes the destruction of the Temple 70AD. No Stone left.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

God wants to gather that remnant to Him. And by holding onto that tiny piece of land believing that is what God has for them they are kept from the real blessing. The real promise that can only come from being One With Christ Jesus As Lord. Fellowship with God the Father through Christ Jesus Lord and Savior to all.

We know what is going to come from Israel the nation. It is going to be the Third Temple. And that is what the Jews in Israel are doing. Preparing for the Third Temple. It is under preparation right now and has been for years.

Many Christians are deceived into supporting the building of the Third Temple where the antichrist will be seated.

Thank you brother. We have a fundamental disagreement here. But I do respect your opinion and attitude. I may try to delve into a further discussion later. But honestly we found out about two wks ago that my mother has cancer. She is going through chemo and radiation treatments for the next 5 wks. Then she will have a big operation at the end of that. So I really can't put my mind to anything right now. I do appreciate you and I'm sure there are other things we agree on. Blessings.
