INFPS often encounter people who dont appreciate their thoughts and dreams.
the thing with INFPS is that their thoughts, and dreams which they may share through writing or any creative expression etc are often deemed unrrealistic or ridiculous.
so that is why INFPS often will close off and not share but thats the ideals are actually what we live for. Few people understand that about us.
anyway...I will wait till the non INFPS find someone else to pick on. Gosh it must be fun trolling a thread about people who have ideals by knocking them or something before they even get a chance to share what they are :-(

Not knocking you down ... but perhaps the real question here, aside from a personality test - is your identity in Christ? (Don’t have to answer this here). I personally think you shouldn’t get caught up in what these personality tests are about but enjoy and give thanks to the Lord for the unique personality that He has blessed you with.

Pretty sure none of those people were INFPs. They may have had dreams, but INFPs are not the only dreamers. And Lanolin forgot to use Joseph. Joseph was more the "Mastermind" personality type, but he sure had dreams.
Okay, yeah, technically she CAN tell people where they can not post. It's about as effective as yelling at a river that it should flow over here instead of over there though.

encouraging Scripture just for INFP the compassionate visonaries amongst us..
Daniel had dreams and visions and a gift from God to interpet them, as did Joseph.
If you recall Joseph was ridiculed by his brothers for sharing his dreams, but if he had not shared them he wouldnt have gone on a journey which led eventually to the land of Egypt, the Exodus and the subsequent founding of the Israelite nation. He was the one who bought all his brothers together to reconcile, even though they were suspicious of him cos he was so different and had dreams and seemed to be favoured by his father Isaac.
Daniel likewise was another who could interpret dreams and never wavered in his faith, even when thrown into a lions den. The hungry lions mouths were stopped. Daniel lived through 3 different kingdoms as a trusted advisor. Those dreams recorded in scripture still resonate today.

INFP is just a type of personality its not a label or a belief.
if you have ideals, then its likely you are a certain type of person just as there are all differnt kinds of people in the Bible who have certain likes (and dislikes). Mary does not respond or view things in the way as Martha does and while both believe in Jesus, you cannot really change Martha into Mary and vice versa.
we know that Martha was insistent that Mary help her in the kitchen, so much she got angry. But Mary needed, in fact her life depended on listening to Jesus. one should never take away what Mary needed in her soul.

common thing with INFPS...people dont get us.
But thats ok, its easy to make mistakes.
Another thing is people think introversion means you are shy. and no matter how much you try to explain that its not shyness, its just quietness, people still dont really listen and label others 'shy'
Anyway INFPS take heart, we just carry on anyway doing what we do...making dreams come true.
