Hello again SarahRachael, so you have no local church/body of believers, or even a Bible Study group nearby perhaps, that you can fellowship with regularly/personally?

I treasure this place as a Christian for a number of different reasons, but I think that I would find it impossible to live the Christian life w/o fellowship in the "real" world (so to speak) too.

Still definitely trying to navigate through this site! Is there anything like bible study groups on here? :)

We have the "Bible Discussion Forum", but many of the threads on it can get quite argumentative. I will make A nice thread on it for you. I will call it "Nice Thread":)

Hahaha, I did see that and honestly thought, "Ohh dear, not sure how much I want to get involved in some of those conversations"! A 'Nice Thread' would be refreshing, lol! I don't know, perhaps something where there's a particular Biblical topic or a Bible verse is chosen and genuine conversation (not argumentation) / thoughts are shared around it? :)

Yup:), it will be about 23rd Psalm. It will take a few minutes for the Administrators to approve it. They do that to all new threads. It is a good thing. God bless you.

Haha, well I'm glad to hear God has already used me to be of service in expanding the vocabulary! :p Honestly, at present, I've been feeling "alone" not having true believers to connect, share, and grow with, and my desire to find that community has been burning, until God planted in my head to search for Christian chat groups, which is something I never would have thought of or pursued before. And here you all are! :)
Hi Sarah
It's a blessing to meet you🙂We must pray that you find a local Biblical Church that you can go to; God doesn't want us struggling on our own and out of fellowship; that's what the enemy of our souls wants. Sending lots of love💕

Sometimes I have found that conversations on here lead me to do some Bible study and it has been a blessing. I also don't like the controversial threads... but it's easy to avoid them. There are many opportunities to be encouraged and to encourage others👌🙏🏻x

I say this somewhat ashamedly, no, I haven't! It's something I've been longing for for years - any kind of community, friends that I can talk to about any and everything Christ-centred and Biblical, and I haven't found it. I'm an introvert (who can often socialize like an extrovert - depending who I'm around or my mood, haha), but for the most part, when it comes to going out into the community and just... walking into a church I've never been before, or attending a bible group at a church I've never been before where I don't know anyone, especially to do that solo, it's something SO incredibly out of my comfort zone (being honest!). So I've never done it! But here I am now in CC? It's a starting point, right?! :)
Dear Sarah... oh Sarah! How I wish I could encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and isolation to embrace the experience of meeting, face-to-face, like-minded believers! Is it possible you could look at it as being an adventure of sorts, without putting any pressure on yourself? I attended quite a few different churches in my early years until I found my church home, and in any that I stayed for any length of time, I will say that I had nothing but good experiences with the people I met, some incredibly lovely loving souls who wanted nothing but the best for me. There is a saying in some of the rooms I frequent that goes something like this:

Aww, I love that! It's true what you say though - hopefully taking baby steps by being apart of CC here will eventually give me more courage! I should make mention - I am very much apart of a couple of very well-known churches via online (I would actually LOVE to attend in person if they were in the same country as me, haha, but they do very much feel like they are home. I also do get involved in the online group chats during the live services on Sunday, which has been great, but it's still not quite the same as attending in person and interacting in person)! 💞

That's awesome! I've definitely found a few that have been great - for the most part, everyone here so far have been just incredible! Thank you (to everyone) for just being you!! 🙌🏼

Hi! I'm Sarah, and tbh, I'm completely new to all of this (group chats, etc). I became born again in 2012, and aside from conversing with my family and considering online churches my family (without any actual interaction), I've never been a space where I can connect and converse with like-minded, like-spirited fellow Christians. It's really refreshing, and I could use any help and encouragement along the way! :)
Welcome, Sarah! I'm pretty new to all this new-fangled technology too, but it is indeed a pleasure to meet another sister in Christ. I hope you will be encouraged by your time here.

Thank you, and it's so great to meet you, too! So far I've met some pretty sensational souls! ☺️
