There Is Power In Unity

There is power in unity, God created unity and that's why it works. God also blesses unity. Philippians 2:2 - Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Matthew 18:20For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.”

Yes unity is good when it's members adhere around the Truth, but unity for unity sake can be dangerous when we are united around the lowest common denominator (usually something like 'love') just to say we are united.

Very true. So when you see divisions you know who is behind that. But Satan works indirectly through men, who present false teachings and thus divide Christians. He is the one who sows tares among the wheat.

MATTHEW 13: SOURCE OF DIVISIONS

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

The issue that faces Christendom is "one faith". As we see in the letters to the seven churches in Asia Minor in Revelation, the one faith was already under attack. And it has continued throughout Church history. The bogus Ecumenical Movement is under Satan's control since it is a part of the New World Order conspiracy. So the most that Christians can hope for is unity of the faith within their own local church (provided it is a Bible-believing and Gospel preaching church).

I truly believe all who love Jesus, Yeshua, are united by the Holy kSpirit, however it is good to hear our Savior onthe subject.

With me 'truth' and 'love' go hand in hand. For example, we are to speak the truth in love.
It is when people say things like "all men are brothers and we all worship the same god just by different names, so let's just love one another and get along", that's where truth trumps so called 'love'.

This verse can be misunderstood, in my opinion. As a part of the body of Christ, I am indwelt with the Holy Spirit. Wherever I am, He is there, even when I am by myself.
