Need Advice

So my youngest son is finally out of the hospital and is doing much better. Thank God for that and the answer to prayers. But now I have the flu and I am curious is there anything I can do to treat the burning in the chest? I'm not coughing a lot but when I do it just leaves a lingering burn that is really uncomfortable.

Drink ALOT of clear liquids. Take some Pepto-bismol if you have any. It'll coat your innards so it won't burn as much..

That's a tough-one...
I tend to use Theraflu mixed with a good HOT GREEN-TEA and HONEY all the way thru the entirety of the Flu transitional cycle... But I do know the chest-burn you speak of... Try augmenting that with something like Nexium which is designed to treat heartburn...

Ginger and licorice are good lung support herbs. Others are oregano oil, plantain, lobelia, chaparral, elecampane, ginseng, astragalus, peppermint, and osha, among others. Traditional Medicinals makes lung support teas, also, available at probably most or any health food store, and maybe even in some drug stores. (I do not know where you live, but in Canada we have London Drugs, and Shoppers Drug Mart, both of which are large stores selling a wide variety of health and hygiene items and way more.)

Try a mustard poultice on your chest.
