As a child at a Catholic school we were expected to write that at the top of the margin on every page of our exercise book.
(Jesus Mary and Joseph)
Do you think that was a good idea?

I suppose it's mildly better than some of the expletives that kids use today. ;)

I’d just stick with Jesus. He’s enough for me.

I would understand why people might write Jesus Mary and the Father since the Father in heaven is the father of Jesus..

I was never directed to do this at the catholic schools i went to..

If I were to write something at the top of every page, it would be "SDG".

I'll leave that to the detectives to interpret. :)

I think most of you would prefer the initials JC at the top of the margin. if you had to have any Christian inspiration that is.
In hindsight the letters JMJ might have bern used as a Big Brother warning:
"Just be careful. Jesus Mary and Joseph are watching you so your best effort please"

nope

the only time I have ever heard those names together was as a combo swear arrangement

and strangely enough, heard a very loud and obnoxious woman saying Mary and Joseph just today in wally's

she left Jesus out

she was miffed over not finding some dog food she wanted

It would approve walking after the corrupted flesh of mankind. The goal of Catholicism. The power of salvation is not reckoned after the birth. No such thing as holiness of the flesh. It simply does despite to the grace of God so that they can give the glory of grace to what they call Mary the mother as Queen of heaven. . making sola scriptura without effect.

They make the claim that only mary received the fulness of grace. All others a unknown remnant that must continue to be worked towards even after death for other unknowns .Unknow severity and unknown amount of time .

Limbo lower. . how low can the father of lies go. . . bottomless?
