Ive always adopted the "head in the sand" policy to these thing. Out of sight is out of mind. if I watched the slaughter of cattle I could never eat meat. I guess some people cant stand the slaughter of plants. That would be a problem.

My paternal grandparents use to raise chickens for a major chicken retailer. I saw them from the time they were tiny little chicks until they were adults loaded into the cages on trucks.
If you grossed out over nugget making don't go searching for how hamburgers get to your table.
I use to be Vegan but circumstances made that difficult to maintain. I say a prayer now every time I see a truck loaded with battery caged chickens on the road. Along with an apology. So sad.

Wash the vegetables and fruit, guess dairy n eggs a hit or miss, unless everything is home grown

Anyone had trouble finding Romain lettuce or spinach at local groceries? If so that's because of the typical recall due to Salmonella. Again!
