I know a similar thread has already been created, but I would love to hear some answers to my specific question.

I don’t date, so my response should rather be disregarded than taken into consideration😜.

I’m thinking that no more than ten years is acceptable, but no rule without exception😁.

Haha. Non-daters need not apply. Joking. I value your opinion highly, lady!

I would consider dating about ten years younger and two or three older... unless I found her really amazing, in which I might stretch that by a couple of years either way.

Of course, there are more important factors. Does she look good in Is she a strong Christian? ;)

Reluctant to put a specific number - as often times doing such (in the requirement development business for example) often time serves to unnecessarily and prematurely constrain the actual threshold of qualifying candidates that would more than adequately meet the objective requirement...
lol to myself as I put this response in the perspective of requirement development...

Do you have a preference either way? Those younger ladies or those cougs? 😂

I have to second this...

I've gotten to a point where I want to know the person first, and then worry about age.

Some guys are way off in guessing my age though, so I'm up front about that right away because I don't want to scare them!

(Truthfully, I don't want them to think I'm wasting their time. )

Most people, including my students, guess that I am 7-10 years younger than I am. Not based on my maturity level whatsoever. 😉

I'm just curious, what is the age difference between you and your wife now?
I know that you were addressing another member but the age difference between me and my wife is 17 days. Maybe I prefer older woman.

Now I'm curious.

Why are guys willing to go A LOT younger, but hardly any older?

Is it all because of looks?

I totally hear you, Meg.

I had a doctor walk in at an appointment last year and thought I was 32.

Um... No, but thanks very much. 🤪

And, most days I have moments of acting about 5.

I can only speak for me. Part of it really is maturity. I am very active in sports, and activities. I don't think of older ladies doing that stuff.
