What a blessing it was to take 10 believers down to Acuña for a mission trip. We met our missionary and his team just as we crossed the boarder Friday around 4:00. We then went to the bunkhouse where we unloaded our stuff and eat a great meal, then it was off to the town square to peach the Word and feed the homeless.
The next morning, Saturday, we went to a nursing home where we met up with a local church, and together we visited with the residents and worked outside cleaning up. After saying goodbye we went to another area of town where we did a prayer walk and invited families and kids to come the parking lot where we were setting up a kids outreach. We had 80 children come out that afternoon, we sing, we shared Jesus, we did and activity. Then it was off to eat supper and then off to a local park, where we did another prayer walk inviting folks to the park for singing game and the word. It was a great time.
Sunday morning after a big breakfast we headed to a piece of land a local church was wanting to plant a church. We cut brush and trees and cleared the spot where we could put out chairs. We then went out with our translators and invited people to come. We set out 100+ chairs and almost all of them were full.
We go all over the world on mission trips. Come join us an spread the Gospel and make disciple!
