Ok since people seem to be obssessed with dating on here, why not list all the cool dates that youve enjoyed.

It takes a bit of creativity and planning to go on a fun date. But theres so much more to dating then go to a dinner and a movie (yawn, I will fall asleep in the movie, and talking with my mouth full isnt that much fun.) . So suggestions here. Use your imaginaton!

Ladies you dont need to endure boring dates where the men ask you to go dancing but youve got two left feet and they dance with everyone else except for you.

Suggestions

A walk through the forest. Take a picnic or your bikes and hit the trail.
Rainy day. Go to a musuem that has olden day stuff and a live day where people dress up. Get dressed up!
Library date. Go to a different library each date until youve borrowed a book from them all. Talk about books youve been reading.
Foodie date. Go to street markets and sample food from each stall (if they have free samples)
Zoo date. Adopt an animal together at the zoo. Then go every week to visit.
Tower date, go up the talkest buildings in your town and have a picnic on the rootop. If no tall buildings find somewhere with a view , go up on roof or climb a tree. This one not for faint hearted.
Carwash date. Wash each others cars. Competition who can have the shiniest windows.
Weed date. Volunteer at community garden or church and weed a patch together. Then grow some flowers.

“Weed date” can mean something very different in Canada, the Netherlands, and certain US states.

“But I never inhaled!”

Oh. What do you call plants you dont want then. Aliens? Foreigners? Immigrants? Invasives?

Anyhow, please dont bore me on a date. If someone ask me out and then says he doesnt know what to do or talk about (or worse, talks shop) then Im like why did you even ask me then...

The awkward silence is like going to the dentist when they ask you how you are and expect you to be cheerful. Not that Ive ever dated a dentist.

One bit of advice I would give to women on a first date is don't act like you're doing him a favour or that he has to impress and entertain you. Be sweet and open. Give him a break.

I also wouldn't want to eat anything on a first date and def NOT anything related to drinking (alcohol) and movies are a terrible idea imo, not just because movies are crap these days, but there's no interaction. Dates should be phone free also.

A nice walk or hike, weather permitting, would be good or anything that allows for tranquility while you can chat. Go to a park and ride the swings together but maybe not the see saw haha

Go to an animal shelter and take a dog for a walk. Go to a local church if there's one and light some candles....whatever you do I think being attentive is the most important thing and not being distracted by superfluous stuff like phones.

Flying fox is ok although I would say dont go to a dud one.
Just be yourself I reckon.

If we want entertainment we would have just stayed home and watched tv.

My first hubby and I would go to LAX, sit have coffee, talk and just watch people. We would also go to interesting cafes.
He was into baseball so we would go to games.
We went to Magic Mountain, Disneyland and Knott's and even carnivals were fun.
Going to a Bible study together or Wed nite service is nice.
Walking through a mall and window shopping is something also to pass the time.
One friend and I were into playing Dominoes, lol, and other card games.

I’m basic person so going to the movies, beach or driving around is all good with me. I think I’d like to have conversations with him first and we if we have a connection then I’d suggest probably bigger things like going bowling, or something to do with community outreach, even Bible Studies.
