This is a real test for me. I am literally afraid for how much I despise Democrats. I know the Lord doesn't want me to think this way, but these people are so wicked and hate America so much, it's difficult not to despise them, and their stupid supporters, who are so ignorant, I find it difficult to converse with them.

Well I find it sometimes helpful to pray for more "heart". To love what only the Lord can love for his glory

Maybe you can't love them, but I know he has a bigger heart than I ever will without him and stewarding a bit of that is a responsibility that is available.

It was a cool realization to know that I have my own "love limits" and that I have that option available.




I have an issue with "elitism" in general. Specific exceptions exist possibly...but mostly I find it harmful and frustrating (and even some strong anger at times).

not that this makes it o.k, but many of the dems hate us ( those who believe in Jesus, don't support lgbt+, don't want socialism, don't want open borders, etc... ) hate us much more than we could dislike them.

and, I get angry too, but I am praying that I see them as victims of lies and propaganda instead of evil people. that helps.

the Bible states God HATES liars...they will not enter heaven. perhaps when exposed they may repent and be ashamed for what they have done and if not, well the truth was vindicated by God Himself. frankly I hate lies also but that does not mean I hate the person spouting them. having had some very harmful lies spouted about myself, I can identify (on a smaller scale) with the current goings on

My brother, when I took the oath to defend the Constitution of the United States against enemies both foreign and domestic, I never thought the domestic part might truly come into play.

Though I no longer wear the uniform, my oath is still valid and am well prepared to help neutralize today’s domestic enemies. And I am at peace with God should it become necessary.

Point very well taken, however their actions lead to the demise and death of millions of people. Be it victims or evil, they need to be stopped. How it’s done is up to them.

You two seem to be forgetting that both sides are equally responsible for the deaths of millions. I also can't fathom the wrapped thinking of Democrats, but killing other Americans is no answer.

This is an interesting situation.

I often find myself having negative feelings towards people who won't criticize Trump even when he does something that pretty clearly was a mistake.

Generally speaking, I'm more attracted to the overall Democratic platform then the Republican won. Keeping in mind, of course, that since there are only two main parties in the USA there are going to be some things that I agree or disagree with in each party.

So maybe we can learn from each other!

There are some conservative/Republican commentators that I like to listen to. David Brooks and George Will come to mind. They are both conservative and intelligent, though neither is a trump supporter.

You know I get angry too sometimes. But I don't hate Dems, I hate what they are doing and many of their beliefs. At that I do separate Dems from progressives. I believe progressives have an evil agenda, so I feel different about them. Hubby was a Dem when I met him. When we began to talk he realized how much the party had changed and he could no longer support the party. Many people support a party because their family always did, or other reasons that when brought to their attention, they change their minds, just like my hubby did. He'll never vote Dem again.

Of course, I don't think the letter of the law applies to Christians today. But the concepts are good to keep in mind.

I agree that the Democrats are acting righteous when they aren't really. But I think that's common to both parties, when either is given the opportunity.

I doubt that anyone gets in to Congress or the presidency while being squeaky clean the entire time.

This has NOTHING to do with criticizing Trump or NOT criticizing Trump.

I don't even look at Trump as far as who he is. All I care about is what the promises he made were, the platforms of each party, and the direction they want to take the nation.

I figured out, even before I was a Christian, that to be a democrat, a "progressive", on the left, (they are ALL virtually the same now) a person had to be very ignorant, or evil. There is no other explanation.

You say you are more in line with the democrat platform?! Just a tiny taste of the difference.

1.First and foremost democrats are not only anti life, but now even float the idea of allowing the mother and Dr. to murder the baby AFTER birth.

GOP is pro life and Trump has been awesome on actually doing what he is able on this issue.


2. Democrats are COMPLETELY, 100% behind homosexual marriage. One of their front runners for Presidential nomination, is married to man! And not ONLY homosexuality, but they ALL fully support a man chopping off body parts and woman adding body parts to change their sex they were born with. EVEN CHILDREN! And, not only do they promote this agenda, but actively persecute and terrorize those that speak against it.

Republicans are pro family- one man one woman.


3. Democrats endorse the global warming hoax whole heartedly. America under Trump has become the world's largest energy producer again. Finally. Democrats want to destroy that industry with their insane Green New deal.

4. Democrats actually booed God and removed support for Israel at their convention in 2012. We all know how great Trump has been on supporting Israel.


I could go on and on with things like Judicial appointments and trade, but how any decent person, let alone Christians, could support Dems is beyond me!
