Not persevering until the end is the worst thing you can do to yourself.
No, denying the fullness of Jesus’ divinity, His work on the cross and His Resurrection is the worst thing you can do to yourself. I encourage you to get with the program.

Through the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross, He commands us to persevere until the end.

1 Corinthians 1:8-9
who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Philippians 1:6
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

Hebrews 7:25
Therefore He is able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.

Yet again, no worries :)
What does the phrase "confirm you to the end" in 1 Corinthians 1:8 mean?

I'm a Christian who hopes to persevere until the end; do you think I should be Catholic?
No I think you should be born again, but this is what many Catholics will state.

I am here to tell you, your perserverance would have to match Jesus and that is not going to happen, because you will never conquer your sin nature.

False....that is not about the salvation of the soul..geesh, do you guys give a crap about context?
Son, your mouth proves you are not "walking according to the Spirit."

Have you not read the words of Jesus? And here He is speaking of the hatred that such as yourself will have towards the Elect of God who are preaching Truth.

"you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved." - Matt 10:22

Not for those of us who persevere until the end. ;)

Matthew 24:13
But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved.
This is NOT a reference to being spiritually saved.

I really think your behaviour is very troll-like, so I am not going to continue discussing with you any further.

I ask, how old are your friends? If your friends are of ages 300BC to 330AD then most likely, they would understand biblical Greek:).
But yet, YOU somehow have understanding?
Because you read a couple commentaries? Interesting....

You see how you just negated your own stance and limited understanding of Biblical Repentance as Jesus, the Apostles and I teach.

Indeed. I AM correct, sir. Any True Biblical scholar will confirm this.
I pay zero attention to the 'motivational speakers' behind the pulpits today who falsely teach a 'repentance" that neglects the True meaning an actual turning away from sin. Such have done great harm to the churches, leaving their congregants still in their sin, believing they are OK in God's eyes. These man-ordained 'ministers' will be held doubly accountable in that Day.

May the Lord remove the scales from your eyes and grant you True understanding of His Word.
