Sorry to hear you are all ill
It sounds like you are all re-infecting each other. Try some of these tips:
- Always wash your hands after touching anything, or use hand gel (if you have that over there).
- Don't share towels or hand towels. Wipe hands with paper towels or if you don't have them, use a towel but only use it once, then put it into the laundry to get washed.
- Soak then wash all towels, clothes, etc in HOT water to kill any germs.
- Don't share toothbrushes or anything that you use in your mouth (I know sounds gross, but we've had clients at work that do this! We don't ask why.....)
- Don't share dishes, cutlery etc or use disposable cups and plates. Wash all dishes with clean cloths, in HOT water. Only use tea towels to dry them once then wash in hot water.
- Don't leave garbage inside or lying around.
- Clean all surfaces regularly with clean cloths like a chux and a disinfectant spray. Throw the chux away afterwards.
- Launder all bedding every few days.
- Wash / disinfect hands before touching any food in the fridge etc.
- Wipe down surfaces touched regularly, like door handles, light switches, etc.
- Use disposable tissues then bin them right away. Wash hands right away after blowing your nose.
- Don't wipe clean or dirty hands on tea towels, then use them to dry your dishes (this is a pet hate of mine!).
Take panadol/paracetamol/tylenol to keep your temperature down. Ibuprofen / aspirin with panadol also helps with aches and pains (take all medications as directed on the box).
Why doesn't your sister go stay with your Mum & Dad for a while, for company? I assume you mean her husband is working late? If this is her 1st pregnancy, it can be a scary, lonely time.
My parents are getting old too - I worry about them alot
My prayer for you all:
Loving Father, please look upon your servant Levi & his family with concern and care. Help them to heal and shake off these awful colds/flu they have contracted. Please help his sister to get through her pregnancy, and to ask for help when she needs it. Amen.
Try to visit your sister more maybe for support.
I hope you all get better very soon!
