Hi guys
I,m not sure I,m in the right place. I was an evangelical christian in my teens and early twenties. To cut a long story short I had issues with certain doctrines and also because of my sexuality I realised there was no meaningful place for me in the church as I understood it. I walked away. A very painful time and I thought that was it. After many years of research and seeking and a couple of powerful spiritual experiences of the love of God I eventually have come to see the core beauty at the heart of the christian message. I,m here to see if there is a place for me in christianity, to share what I have come to understand, which is different from before. So many of you may consider me heretical; but please be assured of my sincere desire for truth and goodwill to you all.

Do not be defined by the past , nor how you feel . Be defined by who you are in Jesus Christ and find a biblical believing fellowship to grow in your faith. The church(whatever denomination) is not perfect but never fail to have daily prayer and read God's word , whether in a group or as a believer alone. Jesus will NEVER leave you nor forsake you , because you have been bought with an unearthly price.....is own shed blood and death on Calvary.

Experiences can be powerful , they can also be distracting . Live by faith. That may sound boring , but we walk by faith , not by sight nor by any other revelation ( however great it manifests itself) but by the Word of God from beginning to end !

Well there is a testimony section. So long someone has an experience that doesn't directly contradict the Word I am willing to listen and offer encouragement.

This is a good place to seek...praying that you will find :)

We all belong in Christ. He created you and He died for you. Don't let any man or devil cause you to think otherwise. When we pass on to the next life, we will stand before Him and Him alone. Come to Him and surrender your life to Him today, just as you are. Let Him change you into the person He always intended you to be. He is beautiful and wonderful and oh-so-good. It is so good that you have come to us. Glad to meet you, Dib.
