I hope I'm doing this right. I don't want the message to appear in the wrong place.
Anyway, I found this board and thought I'd give it a try.
I'm in the UK and I'm generally a bit perplexed by the way things seem to be going in terms of British society becoming increasingly secular or worse.
I was brought up in a Christian country where pretty much everything was based around a common faith , but it's as if anyone who remains a Christian is some kind of nut case as far as most people are concerned.
If we believe the media then it'd seem that no one much still believes in God, but I keep thinking that this can't be true and so I joined to see if there are any others who haven't altered their beliefs.

I'm not sure whether I explained that correctly.

You explained it just right. The media is generally very secular also here in the US. But there are many Bible believing Christians here at CC. We learn from one another in our daily walk with our Lord.

I think it's worse here because it's maybe ten years more advanced down the wrong road. I'm not sure whether you mean the end of the world when you say ,"signs of the times", and I've never gone in much for trying to predict that because we're told that none shall know the hour, BUT I must admit that it's been crossing my mind recently.
When you see nothing but apparently influencial people saying good is bad and vice versa it's really nice to hear from such lovely people here who haven't believed the lies.

Hey GK. I have to agree that we have become insulated as a society. Everyone is going their own way, and yet in my line of work, I encounter so many unhappy, lost people. Society to me has screwed up values, & are always seeking material stuff to make them happy & to give their lives meaning.
