I think until we go home to be with God we will never find a perfect church. I know it wouldn't help me if I did, because I'm not perfect so I wouldn't fit in. It is easy to talk about that but I'd love to celebrate some of the things you all love about your churches. I really appreciate mine for a lot of reasons. Our pastors are humble, accessible and real. We had a series of sermons called "The Messy Church". It embraced people wherever they are at on their journey and in becoming a praying and loving community. We have a young man with challenges and he is often an unexpected blessing. During one sermon, the pastor had just finished talking about God's incredible love and suddenly we all hear "That's outstanding!" yelled from the back. We all smiled. The young man was right. I can only imagine how much this must have pleased God.
I could go on about hugs, laughter and honesty but I'd love to hear from everyone else, what they want to celebrate about their faith community. Thank you all.

Their dedication to serving God. Their not being ashamed to worship and praise God during services. The Christian love displayed towards all in the Congregation. Happy to share in Bible Study Classes. No display of pride or self worth above others. We, in my Congregation, are who we are, and we accept each other as if they were our own family, because, they are!
