All I would like to happen is for people to remember the name of the "Mighty God, the Everlasting Father," who will one day sit on the throne of David, and not to be surprised when they find out His name is not Yahweh or YHWH.

God is a noun.
What is God's name then?

So what in there answers the question "what do you think the accuser of the brethren uses to accuse the brethren"?

Romans 3:19-20
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

No need to lie in the presence of God when the truth works so much better. And the accused can't even deny the truth.

The accuser has you in checkmate. So those who work at the law and think they obey it need to come up with a different strategy.

Workers at the law think they are condemning those who don't work like they do. All they are really doing is digging their own hole deeper.
Lol. You have a good sense of humour bro. I thought I was in the "Introduce Yourself" thread. Just saying. Lol
Nobody here has said it is futile to serve God.

Its just futile to serve the 10 commandments that you have no strength to fulfill. Kind of like banging your head against the wall. It serves no purpose.

If you carried out His requirements you would not mourn before Him.

Romans 9:30-32
30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

Well, right here is the difference between the Righteous and the wicked. Its just too bad you can't see it. Its in plain simple english. Is english your first language?

Those who work at the law don't attain to Righteousness. Why not?

Romans 3:19-20
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Those who work at the law sure think they are righteous. Going about accusing those who don't work at the law but have faith in Christ instead.
Do you not agree with what the Lord said in these verses? Did you see something there that I myself have said that you disagree with? Again, just clarifying and don't mean to be rude. Sorry if you got offended.

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. James 1:21

Confess Jesus as your Lord and Walk in Love.

GOD bless

Greetings wokinluv,

Just straightforward practical submission to the sweet influences of the Holy Spirit and the meek and lowly find a new heart to do what those who have yet to submit thought/think impossible! Joy in the Lord! Like the old saying the best way to defeat an enemy is to make them your friend!

I try to follow a logical train of though point by point to a conclusion.

Ok let's take one. Which point do you want to focus on? I won't move on from it until we agree to. But at the same time I'd hope you will remain on the same point also.
Galatians 3:2-3

I wasn't offended. I was just wondering what you thought you were trying to say with those verses?

Just like now.

You seem to be pulling random verses out that have nothing to do with what we are discussing.

I was showing you that it is not futile to serve God. But it is futile to work at the 10 commandments.

Apparently quoting some random verses that have nothing to do with working at commandments or serving God is your answer???

I just don't get it.

Or did you think that you showed that working at the commandments isn't futile? I'm not sure what you are thinking.

Its ok to be confrontational. I'm not easily offended. Just say simply and directly what you are trying to convey. I won't be mad.

I just shared some verses bro and I don't expect everyone to say amen or agree to what the Lord said. It's not aimed at any specific person but to those who will humbly accept them. If they have nothing to do with what you call "working at commandments, I believe that God's Word is powerful and has everything to do with everything and is never futile. The ten commandments are God's Word and obeying God's Word, laws and commandments is never in anyway futile.

I'm not an Israelite who were the recipient of the Law(Romans 9:1-5) but as a servant of God confessing Jesus as my Lord and savour, it is my whole duty to obey His commandments, laws and words.

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 2:3-4

It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us. And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 1:4-6

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’” Luke 17:10

Confess Jesus as your Lord and walk in Love.

God bless.

Remember it is Yahweh who makes all these silly laws and who tells
The God of Israel was the great I Am. That Holy Spirit that led Moses unto the region of Pharaoh so as to set God's people free. That God was Jesus who stated many times in the New Testament that he is, I Am.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." Book of John 8:12
"I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."Book of John 10:9

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Book of John 14:6

God the Father is the Israelite's only Savior.
“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may consider and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me, no god was formed, and after Me none will come. 11 I, yes I, am the LORD, and there is no Savior but Me. 12 I alone decreed and saved and proclaimed—I, and not some foreign god among you. So you are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God. " The Book of Isaiah 43:10

I think you misunderstand what Jesus meant when he condemned the scribes and the pharisee's that sought to have him killed.
It started out that way with the I AM leading the Israeilites out of Egypt and then it changed when Moses married the daughter of a local Cananite priest, despite saying they should not marry people from other nations. Now enter Yahweh who was a local Cananite pagan god and it was downhill after that with the people becoming disobedient to the I AM, who still looked over them while they were whoring after the gods of other nations. The consequence was that they were left wandering in the wilderness for forty years. Egyptologists' tell me it is about a months Journey from Egypt to where they finally settled.

Ehyeh asher Ehyeh, I AM THAT I AM
It's is locked in several times in the acrostics, the famed Tetragammaton of Ester, YeHoVaH, YHWH, and once EHYH, I AM.

Divine Names and Titles

I ELOHIM 1st occurrence connects with creation - essential meaning Creator of all things. His relation to mankind as His creatures.
Elohim is God, the Son, the living "Word".

II JEHOVAH same God in covenant relationship to those whom He has created. Jehovah means the Eternal, the Immutable One. He Who WAS and IS and IS TO COME.. Divine definition given in Gen 21:33 God of Israel, God of those redeemed, and are thus now "in Christ" We can say My God, but not My Jehovah because My Jehovah is My God.

THE JEHOVAH TITLES

JEHOVAH- JIREH Jehovah WILL SEE, OR PROVIDE GEN 22:14
JEHOVAH-ROPHEKA Jehovah that healeth thee. Ex 15:26
JEHOVAH -NISSI Jehovah my banner Ex 17:15
JEHOVAH-McKADDISHKEM Jehovah that doth sanctify you Ex 31.13
JEHOVAH-SHALOM Jehovah {send} peace Judg 6:24
JEHOVAH -ZeBA OTH Jehovah of hosts. 1 Sam 1:3
JEHOVAH-ZIDKENU Jehovah our righteousness Jer 23.6
JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH Jehovah is there Ezek 48:35
JEHOVAH-ELYON Jehovah most high Ps 7:17
JEHOVAH-RO'I Jehovah my Shepherd Ps 23:1

III JAH Jehovah in special sense having BECOME our Salvation Who is, was, and is to come

IV EL the Almighty, El is "God as Elohim is, but El is God the Omnipotent.

V ELOAH Elohim, Who is to be worshipped. Eloah is God in connection with rather than His power. Eloah is God who wills and orders all and Who is to be the on object of the worship of His people.

VI ELYON with El, in Gen 14 is rendered "most high God" It is EL and ELOHIM not as the powerful Creator, but as "the possessor of heaven and earth" Name is associated With Christ as the Son of "the Highest" The possessor of earth Who divides the nations 'their inheritance". over all the earth

VII SHADDAI the ALMIGHTY God (El) , not as the source of strength but of grace; not as Creator, but as the Giver. All bountiful. Power to supply.

VIII ADON is one of three titles (ADON, ADONAI, ADONIM) WITH God as over-lord

ADON is the Lord as Ruler in the earth
ADONAI is the Lord in His relation to the earth
ADONIM the plural of Adon, never used of man The Lord who rules His own.
Adon over-lord
Adonai owner
Adonim blesser
All perfectly true, correct and lovely. Then there is the Yhwh cult:

As Israel, after taking possession of the country, soon made its Yhwh analogous to Baal, who had until now been lord of the land, so it also took possession of the hill sanctuaries of the latter (the "bamot"), which were held sacred as being nearer to the godhead. The Israelites soothed their religious conscience by connecting the legends of the Patriarchs with these old Canaanite sanctuaries. Connected therewith were frequently the so-called "maẓẓebot." These were originally large exposed blocks which were "set up" (
from
), i.e., set up-right, on their broad side, and which, as seats of the godhead, received votive offerings of oil and sacrificial blood. Later they probably gave place to artistically hewn pillars which stood near the altar. The cult of Yhwh was also connected with sacred trees standing near the eminence or in the open field; but the Israelites did not accept the "asherim," which probably were originally simple trunks of trees or poles planted beside the altar as symbols of Astarte, the goddess of fruitfulness (see Asherah). As thebamot and their maẓẓebot were originally dedicated to Yhwh (comp. Ex. xxiv. 5 [A. V. 4]), the asherim, which may even have been connected with the phallic cult, had no place beside these altars; and they are in fact not mentioned in early times.

Yehoshua;
Yah, YHWH is Salvation
Yah (#H3050) in Jehovah (Yah-Hovah) means "god" and

"Hovah" (#H1942) translates to "eagerly coveting, falling, desire, ruin, calamity, iniquity, mischief, naughtiness, noisome, perverse, very wickedness."

Point being, there is the Yhwh cult and there is the true Yhwh and with all this talk of the Mitzvot Laws we need to be assured of their divine origin. This seems unlikely when the teaching of the I AM is compared with the laws given by the Levite priests and their scribes.

It started out that way with the I AM
I AM calls Himself YHWH and says it is His name forever:
Then Moses said to God,
“Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”
And God said to Moses,
I AM WHO I AM.
And He said,
Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’
Moreover God said to Moses,
Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘YHWH God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’"

Hey Wokinluv,

Lovely verses! It is such a blessed restful thing to find peace with Our Creators Laws in our hearts.

It is a gift that when appropriated brings us into that place of fellowship He gave so much to achieve. Finally able to "walk" with Him.

as I silently praise His majesty and worship Him I hear the clamor of those who would seek to disrupt the reunion between God and man which is through Yahshua and the Sanctification that The Holy Spirit works in us to will and to do His good pleasure.

We are unworthy servants given a Robe of Righteousness by our King covering our unworthiness. The visualization of that Robe and its whiteness and how we are to keep it clean through the humility and obedience and if necessary repentance in humility and plead for forgiveness, is lovely for me to visualize Rev 22:14. Our whole duty is not to appropriate Gods work into our lives for our benefit, but to appropriate our lives into Gods work for His Kingdom! I pray for you brother and hope you would pray for me as we seek to realize this to the greatest extent possible.

Bless Our Heavenly Father and Our Risen King Yahshua. Know and Keep.

There certainly is a lot of darkness and it is not worthy of even a second of our time. Focus on our Heavenly Father. Evil always seeks to gain fear and respect. Give neither. Focus your time and attention onto the Will of Him who overcame the adversary and you will too.

Amen brother and glory be to God. Will pray for you.
Can you see the true God and the Antichrist?

The anti-Christ says:
Jeremiah 7:21 Thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat meat.

Ezekiel 20:40 For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, says the Lord Yahweh, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them, serve me in the land: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the first fruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.

Ezekiel 44:15 But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who performed the duty of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister to me; and they shall stand before me to offer to me the fat and the blood, says the Lord Yahweh:

The pre-incarnate Jesus says:
In every city of Judah he made high places to burn incense to other gods, and provoked to anger Yahweh, the God of his fathers. 2 Chronicles 28:25

“What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? says the Lord; I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of well-fed beasts; I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of goats.(Isaiah 1:11)

Bring no more vain offerings; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath and the calling of convocations—I cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly. (Isaiah 1:13)

Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. (Deu 12:31 KJV)

circumcision isn't a purification rite. it's a physical sign of a covenant.

Who is the God of Moses?
