So a communist country is the way to go? Because that is exactly where we are headed. Biden is behind and the commies are gaining. I hope you'll this some more serious thought before the next election. I do live here and I don't fancy living under a communist gov't.
Voting for the current president should under no circumstances be the outcome of serious thinking. Let that be absolutely clear.

I don’t know what it’s like in Canada, but there’s no way we’re going to get a communist country because the current president is getting voted out of office. That’s advocating conspiracy theories.

We don’t need those conspiracies.

I’m sure Trump is doing his job the best way that he can, but as a citizen I can vote for the candidate I see fit.

I’m not gonna vote for a candidate who stands for isolationism, alienating allies, is doubtful about the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and has been bashing the Agency, the Bureau, NSA etc.

I want a president who is aware of the fact that we’re a part of the Western society, and I want a president who has served the country in the armed forces, or at least is aware of the armed forces significance to the freedom we today are taking for granted.

I don't know what it's like in Canada either. Have you watched the Dem debates? All of them claim to be socialist/communist. That's not a conspiracy theory, listen to what they are saying!!

I don't see where anyone said you couldn't vote for anyone you choose.

So the Dem platform is better? No, it's not. Third party candidate is throwing your vote away. Vote however you wish. I'm just praying Christians will wake up before 2020 and see this is a battle for the soul of the country.

Several presidents haven't served. I don't think anyone is more to back the military than Trump. Obama stripped them down to nothing.

This coming from someone making an unsubstantiated claim, that President Trump has oppressed the American people, and doesn't understand what "gerrymandering" is , is quite comical!

Trump is President of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Love him, hate him, it is undeniable he has the best interests of AMERICA in his policies , NOT OTHER COUNTRIES. Imagine that! WE are NATO! Trump has said other nations, that have LONG been protected by AMERICA, and AMERICAN tax dollars, need to pay their fair share.
How the Heck can you be against that?

And WHERE are you getting your info from? Your ignorance, in knowing that it is those agencies that have acted illegally in trying to get him, is amazing.

Talking to you is like talking to a brick wall.

I find it unbelievable that you are undermining our agencies the way you are. Hopefully it was on the grounds of a temporary moment of poor judgment, but based on what you’ve been posting about this matter, it looks like those moments are getting longer.

NATO: An American President shall not, under any circumstances, in public, be contributing to create doubt about the unity of the defense organization. Now you tell me why doing that is such a good idea? You don’t seem to have a problem with him doing that. The only ones benefiting from that is our enemies.

Don’t you realize how dependent on other countries we are? To me it is apparent that your knowledge about this is mediocre, at best.

It may be difficult for you to accept but some in our trusted agencies are corrupt. FBI DOJ NSA have proven they work on their own agendas and their agendas are not the same as the rest of the country.

NATO has been corrupt for decades. It was a bad idea from the start and has been used to promote a one world government.

When our allies work for and with the enemies of our country they are not acting like allies. We are top be as harmless as doves but as wise as serpents.

It's not meant to be a trap. :) Just wondering how you feel the US fits into the world. Are you a globalist? That would be a big indicator as to how you will vote.

Every Democrat I would consider voting for has no chance of being nominated. The Republicans who have said they would consider challenging him in the primary are jokes.

I do not like sitting an election out and I do not like throwing my vote away to somebody with no shot of winning. So I will vote for Trump and hope he wins my ever-blueing swing state.

Interesting how this discussion hinges on foreign vs. domestic policy. Susanna has a point that the United States needs both its influence in the system of alliances and an administrative superstructure to remain competitive with other nations and thus maintain American liberty (charitably assuming that's a concern of hers). Most others see these entities and programs as opposed to American liberty at worst or subject to Far Left control should Trump be defeated.

I HATE to be the grand equivocator here, but this is the twisted and tragic trap America has found herself in. We need to cultivate a natural aristocracy to build and maintain certain systems, but the current crop we have is untroubled or unconcerned with violating the constitution and pushing social revolution.

If our choice must be between a person who will set fire to the post-WWII order in the interest of America and somebody who will prop up the post-WWII order but set fire to America...well I'm afraid it's the duty of every true patriot to side with America come what may.

But I don't even think that's our choice at the moment. The stuff people say about Trump is really overstated. I wouldn't call him an isolationist, but just an imperialist of the non-Wilsonian variety. We haven't had a non-Wilsonian imperialist in so long, we've forgotten what one looks like.

There are times when I’m in doubt about the current administration’s ability to put America first. Having that said the Obama administration wasn’t any better. They just made their mistakes in a different manner.

By not acknowledging the need for cooperation with our allies, the current administration is putting us in a position where we can lose our ‘eyes’ throughout the world. Russia and China will quickly take advantage of that. That’s not in our best interest.

Why would an American administration take that risk?

Is it due to a lack of a broader perspective politically and militarily, or is it that they are failing to comprehend the components of a strong and successful strategic partnership with our allies?

Or is this the the current administration’s master plan?

Why be undermining our agencies and partnerships without an agenda?

I don’t know the answer.

In what way has Trump denied the need for alliances? I understand he's criticized NATO, but ultimately used it as leverage to get other countries to contribute more to the system. Sounds an awful lot like strengthening the alliance to me. Not to mention acknowledging it's an alliance instead of an imperial system of America and her satellite states.

You do seem more informed on these matters than I do, so I really would appreciate your correction/interpretation of these events.

Domestic agencies are another matter entirely. The tragedy is that it's beyond the scope of somebody who has not been involved to truly understand...but it looks bad. What's a President to do? Well, his level best to reform the institutions. But how do you reform institutions that do so much under legal secrecy? You'd have to be willing to release secrets and Trump himself doesn't seem too interested in that either given the fact he held back documents surrounding the Kennedy assassination.

Again, I stress the word tragedy because we probably didn't have much of a choice with the Soviets breathing down our neck, but the Cold War did much to ruin the fabric of our representative republic with the erection of all these investigative agencies. It's all so alienated from the people that there is bound to be a lack of trust and therefore a shock to the system as a whole. I don't know if Peter Sztrok was representative of his agency, but he did our National Security apparatus no favors.

I've been asked here and on other threads what I have against Americas alliance with Big Pharma and I have repeatedly said that I am against Child sacrifice and @PennEd Don't you realize yet what sorcery means Biblically? Merlin is a myth. Cleopatra was real.
Greek definition of sorcery
"The Greek word translated sorceries is pharmakeia, which literally means the use of drugs." Copy pasted from ask Bing today.

Big Pharma represents Sorcery in the modern world
