Hopeless

Please pray to God that I might have a reason to live. As it stands I have absolutely no hope for the future and can't conceive of things getting better. Please ask God to help me if it be his will, i have no hope and don't believe I ever will. My life is a waste.

You are not a waste, God has purpose for all of us, PLEASE don't talk like that. God will help you find your purpose if you just listen. God talks to all of us everyday but yet we still try our best to control ours lives, years ago I had friend pass on some advice- give it up to God on a daily basis and the days become sweeter. Simple easy advice I live by, I'm a little chubby, no really I am. Hope I made ya smile and I will always pray for ya.

Hi again @Caduceus, I don't know what you're struggling with right now brother, but God does, and I know that you can trust Him to see you though it (no matter how bad things are at the moment).

He loves us, and always wants the very best for us, and He is able to turn even the worst of times in our lives into something good when we trust and allow Him to do so .. Romans 8:28.

Remember too that you are loved with an everlasting love .. Jeremiah 31:3, that there was never a time in eternity past when God didn't love you, nor will there ever be such a time now or in the eternity to come Nothing that's happen to you, nothing that you are going through, and nothing that you've done will ever separate you from the love of God, because nothing about us is a surprise to Him. We know that God didn't make a mistake when He saved you and me, because He knew exactly what and who He was getting when He did!

God's everlasting love is also one of the reasons that pastor/theologian Charles Spurgeon was able to make this wonderful devotional comment, saying,


Again, praying for you. Trust Him, and find your rest in Him, knowing that He will see you past whatever is troubling you now.

Father you know Caduceus you know his heart and his situation right now...he is in a situation where he feels like there is no hope for him anymore. Lord he doesn't know what to do and where to turn to... so I ask You Lord to help him..Lord, surround him with your comfort,love and hope and release him from whatever is keeping him to experience Your peace,comfort,hope and your love. Thank you Lord in Jesus name Amen ❤



We are God masterpieces and you are priceless to God 😊 He knows your struggles...hold on give it all to God in Him we can find strength and hope...keep looking forward brother there is hope for you and me..for us...You are created we are created for a purpose...continue putting one foot in front...one foot in front one foot in front until you see a small ray of light.

Caduceus, I am so sorry that you are hurting and feeling so low. You are not a waste. You are a masterpiece of God. A priceless soul, just please keep calling out to Him. I will pray for you and pray some more. Please consider talking to someone offline too.

My friend, I regret that I don't really have much advice to offer you since I haven't been in your situation before but I do know this: I do know that God loves you very much and He wants the absolute best for you. I also know that you certainly aren't worthless; the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross gave you so much worth! I will be praying for you.

May the LORD guide you in His Way..

I know what it is like to feel what you feel.. One thing that helped be is to start thinking about and doing things to help others... Loving and helping others really returns to us the blessings of being appreciated and giving us the belief we are doing good things for others and the LORD...

I have found it very hard to give without receiving back more then i have given in terms of love and the feelings of joy at being able to help others in what ever little way i have been able to help them..

The worst thing we can do when we are deep in the hole of depression is to focus in on our own misery.. That only seems to cause us to spiral down into the abyss even deeper into darkness..

I am terribly sorry you are FEELING this way NOW.

Everyone has given wonderful, loving encouragement. I wish to do the same.

First, it is vital to always remember that FEELINGS are temporary but Truth is eternal. You temporarily feel despair, and depressed, and maybe you have for a long time, and can't see that anything will change with those feelings. However, if you have put your faith in Jesus, believed Who He is, and what He has done, then you can be assured that His Truth is Eternal, and that you will be with Him eternally, never again to feel like you do now.
THAT IS A HOPE FOR YOUR FUTURE!

So what do you do now though?
You get up every morning with the joy in the knowledge of that future Truth.

You serve Him.
You look for ways to help others. It is VERY difficult to feel depressed when you are genuinely helping others.
You DO NOT dwell on YOUR situation or problems, but look outwardly to Christ, and the need His children have.
You spread His Truth, The Gospel, in every opportunity He gives you.
You be thankful by sitting down and actually writing all the good and blessings he has given you in this life. Start with a full belly, a computer to work on, and work your way out from there. You'd be surprised how blessed you truly are by seeing the massive list you just wrote.
DO NOT FOCUS ON WHAT'S NOT ON THE LIST!!
Go to bed each night thanking Him for all of the above, you wake up and REPEAT!

Holy Father, reveal yourself to this young man in unmistakable ways, show him that he is soooo valuable that You gave Your Son for Him. In Jesus Name I pray.

Lord bless Caduceus and this prayer. Lord help and bless Caduceus, to live and glorify you. Let all these negative thoughts live and Caduceus know he is fearfully and wonderfully made, he has a purpose in life. Please bless Caduceus' life and you be glorified, in Jesus mighty name, Amen!

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

What has brought you to this despair? Was it a crisis, or unknown depression? I am praying for you that you will find hope and joy. Things can get better, and often do, but sometimes it does take time and changes in our own life and hearts. Risks are hard, but sometimes necessary if we want things to improve and sometimes it gets worse before it gets better. In the mean time, take care of yourself, eat right, take vitamins esp like magnesium and B Complex since they help with moods a lot and give us what we need in stress. Blessings to you, you are in my prayers. <3

Hey Brother, I'm worried about you and will continue to pray for you. Please update us when you get the opportunity to do so, especially if there is anything else that you'd like to have us pray about.

The person I always run to whenever I'm troubled about something that's going on in my life is my senior pastor, and I would recommend the same for you. After all, our pastors are the Lord's undershepherds who He appointed to keep a close watch over us in this life .. e.g. Hebrews 13:17. They are normally exceptional at giving good advice and direction to us as a result, and talking to your pastor about all that's going on with you right now will also let him know how he can be praying for you too.

No problem in your life is too big for God to solve, and no sin to great for Him to forgive in Christ
