Too elaborate with too many people involved to be a hoax. The moon landings did take place. Are you suggesting you are more enlightened than most of the population? Its only a bridge too far because people do not want to travel to cloud cuckoo land.
. Cause ya know, truth is dependent on what the majority think.

Something about a wide path that many go down... rings a bell.

But hey, you have a nice day!

But seriously, how do you think a hoax like that would go down with the entire world?

How did they manage to keep a hoax that size a secret?

The commies back then would have told the tale on them if it was a hoax.

It’s just a conspiracy theory.

Hoax or not, my question is why.
Why was so much money spent and what was the benefit to mankind.
A lot of people got famous and rich at the tax payers expense.

I’m not interested in conspiracy theories. I’m just curious as to why you are interested.

Are you connected with NASA in any way?

How can you be so sure that the moon landing is a hoax?

From where are you getting your information about the hoax?

How can your sources be verified?

Even our former/current arch enemy, the Soviet Union/Russia was never in doubt.

But you are.

Tell me why.

Mankind has always been curious. We need to know, we need to explore and we need to try finding out.

Mankind has always been curious. We need to know, we need to explore and we need to try finding out.
But when that need to know cost billions of dollars that could be better spent on the needy, well, I see that a sin.

Yes. I am thoroughly convinced that we did not.

And certainly not just because of the huge amount of Freemasons involved.

But I recognize. This is a bridge too far for most to cross.
According to a recent news report the ''hoax'' is being revived in 2023 when another manned moon landing is planned

Yeah... We saw this movie before. I'll just post a few paragraphs from this 15+year article from the New York Times:
Bush Calls for a Return to Space Exploration
By David Stout
  • Jan. 14, 2004
Mr. Bush outlined a set of proposals "to carry astronauts beyond our orbit to other worlds" and to put human footsteps into the lunar dust for the first time in more than three decades.

  • Mr. Bush also called for development of a new space-exploration vehicle, capable of ferrying astronauts and scientists to the space station but dedicated mainly to carry people deeper into space than ever before, by 2014. A Moon landing could come as early as THE FOLLOWING YEAR, Mr. Bush said, and very soon after that the Moon should become "a launching point to missions beyond."
  • Mr. Bush's speech was inevitably reminiscent of President John F. Kennedy's speech to Congress on May 25, 1961. "I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth," he said.

BEAR IN MIND IT TOOK A SCANT 7 YEARS FROM WHEN KENNEDY ANNOUNCED PUTTING A MAN ON THE MOON UNTIL WE SUPPOSEDLY ACTUALLY DID.

  • There is actual footage of a NASA official saying that we can't go there yet because we forgot how we did it before.

Saying the moon landing was faked is moronic and idiotic

I truthfully feel better about my position after reading this post! Thanks!
Yeah. Like this is why people don't take Christians seriously.
There's no logical reason to have faked the moon landing. They would have absolutely zero motive to do so

There's a pathology behind conspiracy theorists. They prefer elaborate lies to Simple Truth

I honestly can’t wrap my mind around the fact that there’s people who are convinced that the moon landing is a hoax.

Here's the thing PennEd. I've always liked you. Considered you a kind of spiritual mentor in many ways. I thought your advice and opinions were always sound, logical - you met all the criteria for a person that was a good father, family man, spiritually solid, and carried himself in a thoughtful and humble way.

With this kind of conceptual paradigm, where in the heck did you come up with this moon conspiracy? I'm really interested. I mean, do you have any idea how many people would have to be a part of this moon landing lie coupled with the huge percentage of blabbermouths in government work? Especially after they retire - if this was a gov't lie, there'd have to be a thousand books written about it by now. Fifty years? False conspiracies are the only thing with that kind of life.

They landed 6 times PennEd. Six. I don't want to start seeing PennHead instead of your actual handle.

Thank you for your kind words. I can absolutely assure you I would have thought the idea beyond preposterous a little more than a year ago.
However I have always been one to never have condemnation without investigation. There are a multitude of evidences of varying degree of importance. Any one of which, by itself, would not lead one to the hoax conclusion. However in conjunction, and with the one piece of evidence I deem the smoking gun, I maintain that I am convinced no human has stepped foot on the moon.

But if you do have even a slightly open mind, why not watch the video above, with the absurd notion from the NASA official that we can't get back to the moon yet because we "lost" the the 1960s tech that enabled us to go 50 years ago. Then give me your comment onit.

But I have ZERO interest in conversing with anyone who simply want to ridicule and scorn.

I did watch the video. I thought his answer that they "lost" the technology was understated and misleading. The technology and the parts and the commodities are just no longer available. Maybe that would be a better answer. You think of all the molds for all the weird parts they had? Nobody keeps that stuff. It's difficult to even get parts for some cars of that era - think of a Apollo LEM! It had millions of parts. All the special tooling that won't work on anything else were discarded over time. You don't really see a lot of even medical equipment from the 60's. It's not really that technology was lost - it's more like it was outdated and just not used anymore. Even the guys that were the experts of that era are all dead or retired now and wouldn't even know how to go about rebuilding a SaturnV with today's metals and propellants, et al.

I work some with technology from the 90's that seems sooo obsolete. There's some modules and such that aren't designed to do what they can do now. Imagine trying to work with a buidling automated system from the 60's. It just won't work. The tooling, the limitations - it's not lost, it's just outdated.

I mean ok, but it seems patently silly.
My point is they built that thing with 1960s knowledge, using 1960s computers. EVEN if the plans magically disappeared and we couldn't simply manufacture the whole kit and caboodle from scratch, EVEN though those guys did it in LESS than 7 yrs, why wouldn't we simply build a MUCH better system and rocket than the Saturn? I have more computing power in my pocket with my phone, than all of NASA had at that time. We now have quantum computers that are faster than anything we can imagine. You are telling me we are too stupid NOW vs then to figure this out?

And I don't want to hear about the cost. That NEVER stopped us from doing ANYTHING. NASA has a $22 Billion budget for just this year.

But again, if this one blurb from this guy was all there was I would pooh pooh it as well. I might as well tell you the final piece that tipped the scales for me, and then fill in the other pieces if you are still interested. Some of the other stuff is certainly conspiratorial, but just because it is, shouldn't negate it as corroborating evidence. I'm talking about things like the fact that satan is the god of this world, a liar and deceiver. NASA's founding. That a LARGE contingency of the vital members of NASA, including many astronauts were/are Freemasons. But enough of that for now.

The thing that sealed the deal for me is the Van Allen radiation belts. These are rings of intense radiation surrounding the planet. It is why not only do I not believe we went to the moon, but also never left Earth's lower orbit. You realize that the International Space Station IS IN LOWER EARTH ORBIT? In fact, there are many accounts of space shuttle crew and ISS crew having serious eye problems due to the close exposure to the Belts.

But most astonishing is the admission from NASA itself that we have to solve the problem of the radiation belts, and outer space radiation, BEFORE we can go to Mars, or EVEN the moon!

Just focus on the info, not what the YouTube commentator inputs:
