Some scriptures for all of us...
Matthew 2:34 O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Matthew 7:12-23
[12], Therefore all things whatever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
[13], Enter you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
[14], Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it.
[15], Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
[16], You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
[17], Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.
[18], A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
[19], Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
[20], Why by their fruits you shall know them.
[21], Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22], Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?
[23], And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
1 Corinthians 13
[1], Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
[2], And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
[3], And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing.
[4], Love suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not; charity braggs not itself, is not puffed up,
[5], Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
[6], Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
[7], Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
[8], Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
[9], For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
[10], But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
[11], When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
[12], For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
[13], And now stays faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love
