I’m squelching an argument before it starts...that’s what I’m talkin bout..
I quoted the scripture in John where Jesus stated this:
Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
My thought in reading the whole of what He said there, is that the victory of His Cross cast satan out of the world.
I was taught (remember I’m Pentecostal) that he (satan) is now in the second heaven.
John Hagee:
The second heaven is where Satan rules his evil empire with legions of demons and fallen angels. Demons have power. They have personality. They have purpose. Satan has come to rob, to kill and to destroy. If he can mislead you down a wrong path that will destroy your life’s purpose…he has won the battle. The second heaven is his campground.
Make no mistake about it! Satan is a fallen angel who quotes Scripture to deceive and destroy the righteous.
But, in searching this out for the scripture this comes from, I came on
www.gotquestions.org.
So I’ll find it.
Some Charismatic groups use the term second heaven in reference to Satan’s domain and anything that comes from there. They take biblical descriptions of Satan being “the ruler of the kingdom of the air” (Ephesians 2:2) and demons being “the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12) and develop a theology of spiritual warfare. According to these groups, “second heaven revelations” are false visions coming from Satan in an attempt to deceive God’s prophets on earth. Prophets must learn to distinguish between “second heaven revelations” (from the devil) and “third heaven revelations” (from God). These same groups also sometimes teach a hierarchy of demonic power, with the first-heaven (earth-bound) demons being of lesser authority and power than the second-heaven demons.
Just don’t have the stomach for this kind of “debate”.
Am still shell shocked from the last. 😳
So this is my way of starting and finishing it. ⚔️
At least for me anyway. Got it?
