What You Want From Me Today,

That is an alternative of Jesus, here is what I want
from you today. That really is a change in our day
as we awaken each morning. I'm not saying that
we should never ask Jesus for anything, that is not
the message. We greet each morning with love in
our hearts and Jesus on our minds. It is a time we
give ourselves to Christ to be in Him and for Him
leave our own thoughts aside. Many people say, I
don't have time to pray, my day is too full to stop and
pray. I would suggest that we all make time to pray
and set aside something else. Begin the day loving
God and prayer in your heart. It is not complicated,
we just need to clear our minds from any other type
of thoughts that creep in. We say, here I am Lord, I
love you and need you, and I want to follow you.
Praise you Lord Jesus, thank you for being in my
life this day.

Amen. We all fall short. The word of the Lord is so beautiful that it cuts to the spirit, and soul. More better than any diamond, and it's light continues to shine. Thank you. For the beautiful words, that come from your heart. Jesus is there. God Bless.

I've been looking for a place to ask a question, thought Miscellaneous would be a good place, then I find a million threads...LOL. I'll get this place figured out sooner or later. Anyways, I used to know someone named Dusty Rhodes so this caught me eye. Are you from Michigan, and can you juggle? LOL Seriously, your posts seem sensible and scriptural, maybe you can help. Seven weeks ago a young man with his 2 little girls in the car, stopped by and introduced himself. I am newer in the area, a disabled widow, live alone. I had a lawn tractor parked beside my shed, we thought I could mow with it, but my lot is very sandy, and the front tires were so small they just dug in and got stuck. I had planned to sell it for $200. to put towards another one with bigger tires. I have a push mower but cannot walk that long on such rough terrain. Well this guy lives a street over, wanted to know if I wanted to sell it, or if he could do some kind of work for me in exchange for it. We agreed, he would take care of my yard for this season for the tractor. I did draw up a contract we both signed. The next day he and a friend were blowing leaves and weed wacking. I left for an appt. and when I got back, the tractor was gone, and they had not done anything else. In 7 weeks he has not been back, my lawn is knee high. I have tried to call many times, no answer, and no message service set up. I've gone by the house a few times, usually no one home, or just kids. One time they had a yard full of cars and people, and a big bonfire going. I think it is quite clear he was just out to rip me off. I'm easy going, but I really don't like to be a doormat, especially since I have a very limited budget. So I am considering contacting the police, or maybe taking him to small claims court. Any suggestions? I am a Christian, usually to nice for my own good, always trying to help others. I am sure he is not a Christian, so it really would have been nice if this had all worked out and we could have become friendly. I really don't want to make an enemy in the neighborhood.
