gentiles are to manifesting the Fruits of the Sprit, if they are true believers, against these they are no laws.

and no Sabbath mentioned in them.

you judeaizers can yell " Law " at us all you want, the center and litmus test for Christians is faith and trust in Christ, not keeping the Law of Moses.

I see you quickly forgot how I explained to you , how in Lev. 26 God the Father clearly stated that the Old Covenant was made with the fathers of those who came out of Egypt.
What is the difference between the law of Moses and the Law of the kingdom of God?

Jesus is Our Sabbath Jesus became Our Sabbath We rest in Jesus everyday
"Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days."~Colossians 2:14-16

Blotting out Triumphing over them No more "specific" day. Let it go. Just like law of Moses.

We have a before Jesus period and after Jesus period.
The law of sin and death = before Jesus after Jesus = no more law of sin and death

NEW LAWS, a New Covenant, a better one, one with a Comforter sent to help us, One where the flesh dies and the spirit rises as a NEW CREATURE
What are the handwritten ordinances which were against us, which were contrary to us?

Yes,

it was the law of moses. The handwritten laws, written on stone, or as paul called them the ministry of death.

How did he take that curse of the law away from us?

The cross.

If I may, I am not sure of his answer.

But to me

The law of moses is a ministration of death, bey every word, or be cursed, the curse of the law is death

The law of the kingdom is to love others as God has loved you. To take the wisdom of the world (love of self) and and crucify that, and walk in the spirit, serving, loving God and everyone else. Living the fruit of the spirit. By which against their is no law (because no law is needed)

Because the Bible says that if I break one of the commandments I'll be guilty of breaking all of them.
Now, there, Marcelo, you just defined keeping the letter of the law. Let us rather look at the spiritual side of the law. Then you won't need a list. Like in Psalms 1, you will think on and learn to love (delight) in God's law. 2cool.gif

.

Here is the difference BEFORE Jesus came in the flesh, the Law of Moses was "break one, you break them all and death was the penalty for sin" NO ONE COULD DO IT.

AFTER Jesus = You break a law, you have "broken the law" but you have NOT broken ALL THE LAWS. And now, even breaking that law, there is no death penalty, the blood of Jesus will wash you clean as soon as you repent. That is why HIS YOKE is easy. THERE is love and forgiveness at the top of the page. God wants us to love HIM. To try to do it HIS WAY BECAUSE WE LOVE HIM, not to keep death at bay. That is why the law is good. It helps us walk a more perfect life, with no penalty for being "human" at times.

Lets just say that you died while in the commission of a sin. You may be guilty of that sin, but you are not judged to death. It may be written in the book because you did not repent, but you are not judged to death like under the old law. That is the freedom from "the law of sin and death", the law that Jesus GOT RID OF. The law that does not apply to us.

Of course not

They refuse to talk about ANYTHING that may show them to be in error.. They will not even admit it is there

The reason we spend hours and hours of our time to set free our brothers and sister in Christ. We hate to see them in bondage to something that can't bind. To be freed from the fear of the law. A law that leads us to God, easily, set free, because the law is good for our souls and spirit and our walk and carries no penalty of death (as long as you don't mock God) and makes you more like Christ because those are the rules He also plays by. It makes you understand what was done for us. You can love that glorious law because it will NEVER will lead you astray of God. It will direct your feet. It will give you "adda boys". It assures you your path is the right path. It is full of love from God, so much does God want us to follow it He sent His son to die, so we could be forgiven in it.
And I now do this disclaimer so that anyone who is reading this will not think that I believe that God did not give us the Gift of Salvation something I can not buy or work for)

If you give me a list of the Laws with all the Laws except the ones covered by
Jesus as our High Priest,
Jesus is our King,
Jesus as our temple,
Jesus as our blood sacrifice,
All civil and judicial laws taken care of in our courts,
All laws that fall under Government,
All laws for slaves removed,
All the laws for wars
All the laws for businesses
then I will meet you 1/2 way and I will list what ones we follow.

Please remember, these laws were ALL the laws of the land. Many of them have been taken by our respective government agencies. Criminal, Civil, Spiritual, Sacrificial so many of them exist outside of our personal responsibility. Jesus ended many of them with His blood. Well you see what I mean when you read them. And any you discern fall under Love God first and most, and love your neighbor as yourself, no need to list those either. Also I don't know much about farming but I am sure that as the food laws apply to our bodies to keep them healthy the land laws apply to the farmer to keep the land happy. You will find it is in fact, a tiny list. I await my list. Even a little excited about it all.
When you say ""law of Moses" you really mean "Law of the kingdom of God" right?

Hi Marcelo.
There are not "mitzvot" for christians, but principles. Those principles are resumed in two, as Jesus said: love God and love your neighbor. That means everything that implies you don't love God or you don't love another person is something anyone must avoid. We don't need a list for that ... A trained conscience knows what can harm others, and a guide to know is if we ourselves would be harmed in some way if another person does the same thing to us.
Hi, Eli, thanks for your input. Law-keepers in this forum want us (non Law-keepers) to keep the law of Moses. How can we keep it if we don't have a list of effective ordinances? They claim that some laws apply to Christians and others don't and I just want them to provide us with a list of Mitzvot that we are supposed to keep.

I disagree with this point, or with the way I understand it (cause I can misunderstand sometimes English language) ...

Just to be sure: Are you saying that Jesus did not obey some commandments of the Law of Moses?
I am saying some of the commands are for women. I seriously doubt Messiah did those. ;)

Dear Marcelo,

As long as a man follows another man, it is as the blind leading the blind." Religions are all mens rules on how to beleive, behave, shun, accept. This is exactly what Jesus liberated us from. If you request a list then you once again put yourself under a mans rules rather than Gods Holy Spirit.

....That's not what the passage in question says.

You're letting King James language fool you into thinking the text says something it isn't saying. That passage is simply saying there is no law against the fruits of the Spirit like there ARE laws against works in the flesh (i.e. sins). The passage isn't saying, "against the fruits of the Spirit The Law disappears", which is often how that passage is incorrectly taught.

Galatians 5:16-23

"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious:

- sexual immorality (sin = breaking the law)
- impurity (sin = breaking the law)
- debauchery (sin = breaking the law)
- idolatry (sin = breaking the law)
- sorcery (sin = breaking the law)
- hatred (sin = breaking the law)
- discord (sin = breaking the law)
- jealousy (sin = breaking the law)
- rage (sin = breaking the law)
- rivalries' (sin = breaking the law)
- divisions (sin = breaking the law)
- factions (sin = breaking the law)
- envy (sin = breaking the law)
- drunkenness (sin = breaking the law)
- orgies, and the like (sin = breaking the law)

I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is:

- love (No law to break = no sin)
- joy (No law to break = no sin)
- peace (No law to break = no sin)
- patience (No law to break = no sin)
- kindness (No law to break = no sin)
- goodness (No law to break = no sin)
- faithfulness (No law to break = no sin)
- gentleness (No law to break = no sin)
- self-control. (No law to break = no sin)

Against such ^^^things^^^ there is no law [to break]."

Who said they wanted you to keep the law of Moses? Please tell me cause I will go after them and rip and tear them to shreds for lying to you (unless they don't know). One thing most law keepers know is that the law of Moses ended with John the Baptist. So please give me names to get this straightened out. That is deception pure and simple. ANYONE saying the law of Moses is still valid is rendering void what Jesus did. That might even be blasphemy if they know the truth and spread such lies. (unless they don't know)

1. Jesus was not a levite.
2. He was nto a judge
3. He was not a woman.

Yet he FULFILLED THE LAW

How? He never sinned once,, he did not keep the whole law yet stumble in one point, he did confirm the fathers commands, and he DID obey every jot and tittle. Then he became the lamb of God who was sleign for the sin of the world. And now sits as high priest in the order of melchisadek (because the arronic priesthood was flawed)
Of course Messiah was faultless. I could be wrong but it seems you and I agree for the most part. What I do not agree with is your assessment of the priest system that Almighty designed. It was not flawed. It served its purpose well, and helped prepare the way for Messiah.

Yes

But it was flawed in that not one sin every was atoned for or forgiven according to the priesthood.

Your letting your belief system guide you and not the words.

If one is doing the fruit of the spirit. They will by practice NEVER BREAK THE LAW. Hence the point, if your doing them, no law can be against you

The problem is we do not do these things 100% perfectly 24/7 365 days a year. So we still sin.

Following the law will NeveR help us be better people it was not made for that puyrpose. It was made to CONDEMN us.
