If the earth is constantly stationary, explain earthquakes? If the earth is constantly moving, how come there is no evidence of it, besides earthquakes?
Relativity, my dear Watson. It all depends on your frame of reference.

If you are in a jet plane going 500 mph, you would not know it unless you look out the window at objects not going that speed. But try driving 500 mph on earth, where there are many points of reference!

The Earth is moving at high speed, but we do not know it because of our frame of refernce.

Absolutely. I was trying to stretch those thinking caps a little bit. Which ever way you believe, I'm sure your mind is not gonna be changed in a 3 page thread.

You never know. I like to think my mind hasn't turned into concrete just yet.:)

My 5 minute post time ended, was trying to edit it. ", or maybe it will?!?!". I personally think the Earth is stationary, but not trying to discuss this one. These type of subjects, I just try to have an open mind.

I did this exact same thread about two years ago. If there is a way to dig it up, I was really into it then. My world is upside down right now and just trying not to get dizzy.

Oyster, thanks for being easy going on my over taxed mind.

The people in Australiaare be upside down at the moment also. Think of how dizzy they must all be right now.:)

Seriously though, if you are not feeling well for any reason, I will pray with you. God bless you.

It's all good, God is blessing me, but sometimes there is a few tests before the promise land.

If we where to spiritualize things, I might be able to see where you are coming from. The earth is definitely a special place in the mind of God. The inhabitants thereof are the apple of His eye.
