Diversity in the work place is one thing, but forcing someone else’s lifestyle and values
on you is a different matter.

Would they expect everyone to wear a lanyard with a cross at Easter with John 3 v 16
written on it.

Or would they force everyone to stop eating pork during Ramadan and fast from sun
up to sun down.

It sounds to me like they are trying too hard to be inclusive and are ending up
being discriminatory.

Discriination can be active or via association. Forcing people to wear
gay pride colours is discrimination against a number of religions who do not believe
it is right. It also discriminates against straight people who have no interest in that
lifestyle. Would they force the LGBT community to dress and act straight for a month.
Hey thanks for your reply :) ..I agree with what you said. Again, I didn’t get forced to wear it, they were just handed out at work the other day and I didn’t feel comfortable so I didn’t put it on. Now if anyone asks me why I’m not wearing it then I’ll know all of the right words to say becaus the Holy Spirit will be my guide. It could have been a lot worse, it was only the rainbow colored lettering on the card that was attached to the lanyard. At least the lanyard itself wasn’t a rainbow. Then I REALLY would have been offended. It just bothers me how blinded and how lost people are, and that they think this is “normal” when there’s nothing normal about it at all. But if we as Christians stand up for our beliefs then we look like the bad guys. We look like the crazies smh. It’s a shame how the world is.

Then again, you’re right. In a way it is forcing it on people. It’s like yelling “HEY! It’s PRIDE MONTH!” ..it’s like they aren’t even being considerate of those around them with different beliefs. So yes, I agree with what you’ve mentioned.

Hey everyone, so I’ve just experienced something VERY uncomfortable at work. My managers are handing out lanyards to our employees to wear for pride month. I DO NOT support LGBTQ or PRIDE month at all. I didn’t wear it, instead I hid it. If they keep asking me then I’ll just have to tell them kindly, that I’m a Christian and a follower of Yeshua Jesus and I believe in the Bible. I’m sorry but I will NOT disrespect my Heavenly Father. My salvation is more important than my job and if it means I have to quit then I will. I feel like this is a test. I have faith in my Heavenly Father and will let the Holy Spirit guide me to say the right things...carefully. What are your thoughts on this brother’s and sisters in Christ? Bless you all 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
it is a violation of your civil rights to make an employee where something that is political. You do not have to wear it. if they do not provide a uniform for you to wear and allow you to wear what you want that is business acceptable you can refuse and provide them with no reason. IF they press it they will be violating your rights.

MY LITTLE PONY introduces lesbian couple for children to watch and accept …
In an upcoming episode of Mt Little Pony the show will feature a lesbian pony couple:
Aunt Lofty and Aunt Holiday -
"Diversity and representation are important for kids for so many reasons, and it's my first priority on everything I work on,"
said writer and producer, Michael Vogel.
"I think it's fantastic that we can show that what truly defines a family is love - that, to me, is the core of My Little Pony,"
added Nicole Debuc, one of the showrunners.

This is exactly what I was talking about. There is another cartoon called "The Loud House" which consists of 10 girls and one boy of 10 named Lincoln. On the show, his friend Clyde has two dad's. Their goal is to present same-sex as being the normal. But as we all know, the only sexual intimacy that God created and approves of is between a man and a woman. Anything and everything else is sexual sin.

Nothing surprising here I'd be alot less angry if they allowed open Christian values but now there's backlash against subtle ones too. A man named Butch Hartman the creator of The Fairly Oddparents and Danny Phantom I found out recently was Christian and incorporated its morals in all his shows now people are angery (despite him being a Cartoon creator for 20+ years its suddenly a problem) I have to say I'm gonna support him now. You gotta be careful and do research on what your kids watch

They are deceived. But remember, they were created in the image of God.

Not supporting their lifestyle at all. It is sin. I have sins also. They need the gospel. It is our job to proclaim it.

Expect persecution and struggles as a believer. We're told that is part of it.
If you go on a 5 mile run are you surprised that you sweat? Don't be surprised by the suffering that comes from this world because of your faith.

We are all impacted by Adam's sin. It has been passed to us. Only Christ can save me, you or them.

And yes, it sickens me that they use the rainbow as their symbol. But maybe that is a giant indicator of how little so many know about the bible. It's our job to show them.

I think it's interesting that pride was the devil's downfall and it is now the word that the LGBTQ community uses to promote itself.

You guys, it was mentioned again but this time in a group meeting we had at work yesterday morning! 😖 I felt so uncomfortable and just kept silent. Everyone was talking about the pride parade and LGBTQ rights and how it started and they sound so confident about it and actually “proud”. It’s really sad to see how blind and lost people are spiritually. I pray for them. All I know is my managers better not make me watch a video or anything because I refuse! I don’t tolerate or support what they’re doing AT ALL. I love them but I don’t support it.

Last Easter my workplace were handing out bunny ears and eggy themed clothing for Easter. I don't personally commemorate Easter, so I didn't wear them. No issue. Some coworkers did, some didn't.

I'm fairly certain you have the right to refuse to commemorate the Stonewall riots and the LGBT marches, likewise, surely?

Yes one may choose legally not to participate in the politically correct group think, but it will be held against you.
You will be marked as a dissident. Not a team player. It can even affect your chances of staying employed or promoted.
The world will hate you because they hate Jesus and the Father.
Righteousness is not popular in these last days.
Tribulations for real Christians never cease.

I have never been asked to participate in a Pride event. Where are you people working since this is a problem?

I didn’t get asked to participate in a pride event, I’m just saying how people at my work support LGBTQ and how they were talking about pride and mentioned the pride parade openly in a meeting. I work retail. I even see people at the mall walking around with Steve Madden rainbow bags. I guess the whole month of June is dedicated to pride? Anyway, sorry, I don’t mean to keep talking about it. Don’t mean to make a big deal about it. Just wanted to throw that out there is all. God bless everyone 🙏🏽 thank you for responding

Just in case some people aren't aware of it. Discrimination against lGBTQ persons in the workplace is prohibited by US Federal law and transgender individuals are protected by the Americans with disabilities act. I'm certainly not defending them however I'm not making it up either.

my son had the same kind of situation when he was in high school where there were gay/straight alliance groups meetings, and, a lot of young people felt obligated to attend, because they didn't want to appear prejudiced. My son absolutely refused, he said he didn't agree with this at all... and then some other young people said they agreed with him and got the courage to not attend.

I realize how powerful and insidious the gay/ transgender movement has become and it is frightening. I was very torn about my own church, because, we have an openly gay, ordained minister and that has changed the congregation from conservative to many gay couples attending, legally married gay and lesbians, and even lesbian couples adopting children and also having babies through invitro fertilization.

My mother once said that if the door is opened to ordaining openly and active homosexuals we will never be able to close it again.
