It would be nice if someday I would have the privilege of my wife saying something along the lines of what this woman said about her husband. 20190508_194453.jpg

My fantasy wife would be one that's not crazy and looks nice. And will let me eat donuts whenever I want.

I will be 30 in a few months. :giggle:
JB is married and I'm not really into guys with a bunch of tattoos. :sneaky:
Yes, people still write songs and poems. They are called hobbies. I'm a writer myself. I love it!
It is a thread where we can daydream...it's supposed to be romantic, sappy, and fairytale like. It's not meant to be serious. :p
In my opinion those are good things to dream for and want🙂

Someone worthy of my respect because I cannot love a man I cannot respect. But maybe it is only a daydream because honorable men are rarer than diamonds.
You know diamonds aren't really that rare? The supply is just controlled to artificially inflate the price.

If you're going to pee on somebody else's dreams, at least bring yours out here for us to pee on. It's only fair.
Yes. One should be careful before peeing on the dreams of another, else one may end up paying $20 to a little old lady, as in the story linked.

To love me unconditionally and insist on doing the cooking. I like cleaning but cooking is a chore. Some people find cooking relaxing and unwinding but for me it is a burden.

Cooking isn't unwinding. It's an adventure! You think this, this and that will taste like THIS, but you have to test it... Then it turns out *almost* like you imagined, so you make another batch just slightly different... Ah that's better, but it could use a bit of this...

That's the beauty of it. You don't need to!

Recipes are templates, road maps we make for food. We wander down a road, take a random left or right... and if we wind up somewhere great and we want to go there again, we write down the directions. We call these directions recipes, and we use them to get back to the same place next time.

But you don't HAVE to follow the directions exactly. Recipes are not sacrosanct. Next time you might want to go straight instead of taking a left. And unlike road directions, you can still get to a great place by changing a few recipe directions.

Romance is finding out your partners main love languages and doing those things as much as you can. Romance is doing thoughtful gestures making sure you let them know they are on your mind. Romance is going behind their back and giving them a hug and letting them know you appreciate them and so glad they are in your life.

It shouldn't be this hard... but people are generally selfish. It takes being unselfish to keep that romance and fire burning.

Little Mermaid... go for your dreams.. don't settle for less than what brings you peace and what God lays on your heart to look for.

As far as for me... what I'm looking for...

#1 above all things loves Jesus
Loving
Caring
Nurturing
Affectionate
Kind to all people
good communication
Similar interests
Good head on her shoulders - makes wise choices
responsible
gives me peace when I'm with her

I wish I had enthusiasm for cooking but I simply don't. Funnily enough my mum was a fantastic cook but unfortunately I didn't inherit those genes :cry:(n)
