We are all ministers of reconciliation. What is it? And how will it affect not only others, but ourselves?

Believers Are Reconciled - Confirmed Blameless

RECONCILED:
Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ!
(PARSING vs 13: Thru faith in Christs sin sacrifice. Believers are brought/presented before God clean, washed with the sinless blood of Christ, also see Rev 1:5)

Colossians 1:
20 having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
(PARSING vs 20: Jesus, through His work of the cross, presents every believer holy. Holy doesn’t mean sinless, it means set apart.)

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
(PARSING vs 21: Believers are NOW RECONCILED)

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight
(PARSING vs 22: Believers are rendered "unblameable and unreproveable in his sight)

(NOTE: When we place our faith in Christs finished sin atoning sacrifice. We become unblameable and unreproveable in Gods sight. God will never place sins judgment on us. He allowed a sinless Jesus become sin & take our deserved punishment in His death on the cross.)

CONFIRMED
1 Corinthians 1:
6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
(PARSING vs 6: A believers salvation is confirmed via The Holy Spirit, see 2 Cor 1:22, Timothy 1:14, 2 Cor 5:5, Eph 1:13 & 14, Eph 4:30)

7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
(PARSING vs 7: All true believers are looking/waiting for Christ to come & meet them in the air, see 1 Thes 4:16)

8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(PARSING vs 8: Its our faith in Christs sacrifice that confirms & renders us blameless on that blessed day, see Titus 2:13)

9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
(PARSING vs 9: Believers are confirmed, reconciled, rendered blameless and unreproveable by a faithful God)

Thank you flyingdove. Love your user name! This all is true and is what is taught but is there more to this?

My second question... How does this affect us in reality now? Is there a process? I saw something in scripture this morning, early morning, and It was like reading it for the first time.

I’m not meaning innocence and blameless...though this is truth and is a result of reconciliation.

Today has become a very busy day so hopefully I can get back soon.

Reconciliation:

G236

Reconciled:

II Corinthians 5:18-20 says that every Christian has been given the Ministry of Reconciliation as Ambassadors for Christ, empowered to deliver a message as though Jesus were performing the task.

Which scripture do you live in, Philippians 1:21 or Philippians 2:21? Are you living for Christ or are you living for self?

Thank you MOTC!

That’s the scripture in 2 Corinthians that I was reading. And I apologize for the delay..

11 Therefore, since we know what it means to fear the Lord, we try to persuade people. We ourselves are perfectly known to God. I hope we are also really known to your consciences.

2Co 5:12 We are not recommending ourselves to you again but are giving you a reason to be proud of us, so that you can answer those who are proud of outward things rather than inward character.

2Co 5:13 So if we were crazy, it was for God; if we are sane, it is for you.

2Co 5:14 The love of the Messiah controls us, for we are convinced of this: that one person died for all people; therefore, all people have died.

2Co 5:15 He died for all people, so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for the one who died and rose for them.

2Co 5:16 So then, from now on we do not think of anyone from a human point of view. Even if we did think of the Messiah from a human point of view, we don't think of him that way anymore.

2Co 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in the Messiah, he is a new creation. Old things have disappeared, and—look!—all things have become new!

2Co 5:18 All of this comes from God, who has reconciled us to himself through the Messiah and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

2Co 5:19 for through the Messiah, God was reconciling the world to himself by not counting their sins against them. He has committed his message of reconciliation to us.

2Co 5:20 Therefore, we are the Messiah's representatives, as though God were pleading through us. We plead on the Messiah's behalf: "Be reconciled to God!"

2Co 5:21 God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that God's righteousness would be produced in us.

Verse 14, that one person died for all people, therefore all people have died.

That’s the meaning of “ Jesus died for the ungodly”. It’s not that we must die to self, our self, our ego, for or our person (flesh-human nature) has already been put to death by the death of the perfect One who fulfilled law for all mankind. We by our faith reckon it so. It’s the act of Father and Son planned before the creation of this world.

We try to put our flesh under, but the truth is, it’s dead, circumcised off when we receive the sacrifice of Jesus. We are risen with Him when born anew. Born from above. A heavenly being, no longer earthy.

There will never be condemnation for our guilty conscience has been erased.....if we know this and put our faith in the truth.

I think the more we try to obey, the more we will fail. That we rest in the new creation man/woman that we are. Spiritual. Spirit, Sat down with Him in His victorious place in heaven.

This is good news! And all the world needs to know this. Plus most of believers.

So why would we look back to what has occurred in the past? We are delivered wholly from a past life.

If we can get a grip of understanding and accept this present day ministry of being reconciled forever, we will be more than conquerors through Jesus. And free.

Now, the baptism of Holy Spirit. I will never say again that it’s ok to just be born again. That’s the seed, and will grow in character. But to walk as He walked, it will take His power. And He’s already sent Holy Spirit here, so pursue Him until Jesus gives the assurance through the gifts of tongues or prophecy. For both are not of self will, but are of the will of Holy Spirit, and are power.

You will then know the difference between the two experiences. And if you have trouble receiving on your own? Seek an apostle or prophet to lay hands on you. For this is the will of God for every new creation man and woman, whether or not you “like” the idea.

We already have the fruit of Holy Spirit, because it’s His fruit not ours. Faith again. We are trying to work our salvation with sweat, and this will never be accepted. Faith releases all things. Work through faith. Believe the Word.

If you don’t like this message? I won’t argue but will discuss.

In plain English, it means telling those who are not saved that ever since the crucifixion of Christ God is not their enemy, therefore they must be reconciled to God through obedience to the Gospel.

This will mean that Christians are sharing the Gospel and fulfilling the Great Commission. Some people wrongly think that the ministry of reconciliation is not the same as the sharing of the Gospel. But they are one and the same.

Yes, I agree they are the same Nehemiah.

But on these scriptures I read that all creation has been reconciled back to Father now. That Father views man as dead through Son and alive as His new not renewed creation.

I see that we labor to do what is already done with receiving Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Christ I am now speaking about.

There's a scripture that say that we have everything we need in Holy Spirit to live godly. Am sure you will recognise this without me finding it, but if not, I will do so.

The new creation man is born as Spirit ruled. Flesh circumcised.. yet we try continually to put to death what is already dead.

If we give this truth as the true gospel which it is, then baptized in Holy Spirit at the beginning, confusion about dying to self and being alive to God is realized as finished for us.

Easier to realize that we are Spirit ruled and rule in His authority and power over all enemy from beginning.

And we are part of the living body of Jesus Christ on Earth along with those in heaven, and together walk in unity in the Son.

Not of churches which are split over doctrines but one truly in Jesus.

As it was in the beginning.

I believe the gospel of Paul given to him by revelation from Jesus Himself has been weakened on power that is ours from inheritance from resistance to Holy Spirit. And that. restoration is now happening as we come alive in what is truth.

That all creation is restored to Father. Believe and receive and will draw all men.
