The Father WillS...the Son CARRIES OUT the Father's will...the Spirit oversees the results. Good example is creation: the Father planned...the Son acted in that plan...and the Spirit oversaw "brooded". But all Three acted in harmony.
Jesus said He only did what the Father tells Him...the Spirit points to Christ...then convicts and seals. All Three act together.

I pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. I also pray to the Eternal Father in the same name, yet Isaiah teaches us the Child born unto the virigen would be called Eternal Father, God almighty, and Comforter among other names. There for it comfortsme to pray to Jesus Father, my Comforter.

NO, i DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE MYSTERY OF eLOHANUE, gOD, BUT i CERTAINLY BELIEVE hIM,and I am comfortalble with thiss awaiting His revelation to me of His being mystery. Do not explain it to me, for you do ot understand when you separate the Father, the So and the HOly Spirit, they are One.

Very true. I can't explain it except to say the Bible deals with three distinct Persons in the Godhead with ease so it behooves us to acknowledge it whether we can explain it or not.

Yes, I did cover this in my post also…………...I wait believing Isaiah for he was given the Word to write down by our Father, Jesus, Yeshua.

By active, I mean working through people (particularly people in the OT) before the time of Jesus? What do you think?

Another question: Do you believe the Holy Spirit is mentioned in the OT?
Gods Holy Spirit has been active since forever.. And yes active in the OT and NT...

The Holy Spirit was not active before Christ ! It is only Christ who baptized us with the Holy Ghost !
you say here that the Holy Spirit was not active before Christ then, you flip your comments to the Trinity Concept in another post. Which is it guy? When we speak of the Godhead we must do so reverently and with this understanding, we are limited in our ability to FULLY know the Godhead. Much humility is needed and caution when speaking of the Holy Spirit. Your comment here has morphed as you posted later in this thread. If You agree or not.

wrong

you are very misinformed and perhaps should start reading the OT
Don't worry I have a better understanding of the Ot than you can ever imagine. I read the OT over and over and had to learn it by heart. At that time, I was brainwashed as you are. Fortunately, I took theology courses especially on the cultures of that time and then every things became clear as crystal water.

Yes, the HS was active in the OT.

From the Nicene Creed
(originally adopted in the city of Nicaea by the First Council of Nicaea in 325) ;

"We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and Son is adored and glorified, WHO HAS SPOKEN THROUGH THE PROPHETS."

Absolutely. His fingerprints are all thru the OT. What I think your stating is the different emphasis from OT & NT. He was an agent in the OT but a resident in the NT. Something unheard of and received in mystery by the disciples...until Pentecost. Blessings
