God has been weaning me off 'feelings' for the past month and a half and it's been an extremely difficult process for me where so often, especially right now, I feel like giving up and letting go of God. I understand he wants to take me to a new level in faith but, am really struggling here w/ this new test everyday. It's getting harder and harder to just hang on. I've been extremely disciplined over the past month and a half and been holding just to stay faithful and the last 2 days, it's just been getting even harder. I'm not exactly sure how much more I can take before I let go of all this. So, please pray for me today.

Just hold dear to God's promise of a day when none of this world's toils and trivial concerns will even matter anymore. YOU ARE IN THIS WORLD BUT NOT OF IT! You look foreword to a much higher purpose and understanding with Him! Someday we'll all look back on this temporary existence as a laughable distant childhood memory :)

Perhaps you should let go of this and let God, rather than thinking about letting go of God. I will say prayer for you today for God to comfort you, and calm your fears and anxiety. God may indeed want to elevate you to a new level of faith but please understand that this is not going to happen in a month or even a year but rather in incremental steps that you will be able to handle. Please, just relax for awhile and let God sweat the small stuff for you. God already knows your faith so don't feel like you have to prove it to God and in the process worrying about it and living in fear. "Fear not", says the Lord.

I will pray for you. You mentioned how hard it is to keep holding on. Maybe if you let go, then God will hold onto you. It's good to stay disciplined. Just make sure it's in His power and not your own.

ManiaStar, praying for you, for an abundance and of strength in the Lord and for protection from those thoughts. It's a hard road to be on and I pray that you're able to see that even when things are trying/difficult/challenging it is always better with God than without Him. You can do this. Know that you aren't alone and that you are loved.

Feelings can be so hard. I am so sorry that you are overwhelmed and struggling. I am so glad that you are reaching out for prayers. Please don't give up on God, or on your yourself. He loves you so much and feelings change but He doesn't. Keep on keeping on, one day at a time. This season will pass, it will...deep breath, maybe some tears, or a good hearty laugh, and a walk outside can make a world of difference. Either way, even o your worst days, you are so loved by Him and by the body of Christ. Hugs and keep us posted...we will keep praying.

I have been going through a similar process myself with God and I watched a Joseph Prince teaching called Resting in the Faith of Jesus. It has really helped me. I have provided the link below. It goes for about an hour and a half because it is part 1,2 and 3. My favourite is part 2. Hope it helps.
