Rainy day mornings,
Sunny afternoons,
Sidewalks are wet,
The air is fresh.
Nothing is new,
I've seen it before,
Thoughts of You,
From ceiling to floor.
Lilacs are blooming,
Birds are singing,
Spring is in my heart,
Love forever looming.
With my eyes closed,
I see You in my dream,
With my eyes open,
I see what You mean.
How could I ever give them away,
They're the things
That make my life stay
Within the circle of love unending,
Within the faith of truth unbending.
You are and forever will be my Lord.
