Lately I have noticed there are few people in the streets sharing the message of hope with the lost. If we even have organized door-to-door visitation programs is a wonder. Who is out there? Are we depending on Pat Roberson and the 700 Club now? That is not how Jesus started the work and it spread all over the world. Jesus sent believers out 2 by 2. He said that we should not worry for what to take. Today we get itchy if we don't have our tablet. How are the unbelievers to hear the gospel? Are they suppose to walk by a church and hear clashing drums and say to themselves, "I want to go in there", don't hold your breath. I have been in churches where I felt as uncomfortable as a skunk. We have a guy here who never tires of helping the homeless and he gets law suits for it not to mention lice, hostility and protests. We have more love for sin than the sinner. I met a guy yesterday who said he was trying to be good. He said he accepted Jesus years ago in prison but walked away. How can you be good if you walk away from God? I have led friends and others to the Lord and know their joy in worship is the sharing of his message as he intended. Now we don't even meet each other. WE don't talk face to face. IF your life is not satisfying, maybe your faith is not right. God does not need drummers or seat warmers. God needs obedience. Obedience is the command of his disciples to go out and share the message not hide behind fake names, lawyers, and fears like on chat rooms. I have asked for help to work this site. I got 2 responses. I realize now that caring does not come from asking for help any more. We have lost our message to deception. Is not kindness one of the fruits of the spirit? Where is it in the modern age? I have met Christians who don't read the Bible. How do you know you are a Christian if you don't read his testimony? Let's get out there and off our tuffets and go to the lost and forget our need to hide our light under a bushel. I pray I can find friends but God wants me to go out and share. In another city that is where I met people and became brother to them.
