I'm someone who knows all to well about being a lone my whole life. Someone who is afraid to make friends in public because I feel I'm not good enough. I can relate in that level, I also can relate that I may say something off the wall that makes me look foolish. But you know what the best way to be liked here is to actually be positive and friendly. If you feel like a fool for the things you say, make comments and posts about other things that will generate a positive discussion. Everyone has problems, many here don't understand it but we it.

I see you do not read the bible outside bible study , is this correct , please forgive me if I am wrong , but I must stress that the only way we have our minds transformed , is by the reading of Gods word...

The devil will defo keep you away from opening the bible , that is for sure...
When we read the word of God , we are listening to Him and He fills us with His paths for our lives , and removes the lies that we have been fed...

It does not matter what we suffer with mentally or physically in this world , God gets through all barriers...

Just a suggestion to you , how about coming away from all the things that grind you down , like the news , and other things , and take time to spend with God as He shows you who you are in Christ Jesus , only He can heal you...xox...

I was talking with History Princess about how difficult it can be to approach people and make new friends. I'm pretty sure we all know how awkward it can be, even on a message board like this.

I had asked her if it would be ok to post this-- I was just wondering if people who can relate to what she's expressing here might leave a post in this thread saying she can contact them, or maybe even just go ahead and drop her a direct PM?

I understand what she's saying about it being a challenge to talk to people, especially when you're afraid of saying something wrong.

I just thought it might make it a bit less intimidating if some of the people reading wanted to open the door to her and make the start a little easier.

Historyprincess, I pretty sure no one hates you, and we've all(or most, at least)made foolish posts. I love the power of your passion, and while I might not always agree with your anger, I can certainly understand it. Depression I definitely understand. If you want to contact me, feel free.

For my part, HP, I wasn't trying to come down hard on you. I only wanted to give you some stuff to think about.

And if you need a really good female friend, I think that Seoulsearch is a good person for that.
