i know for many believers suggesting another king besides Jesus is sacrilege but i am sure revelation does just that, it talks about the birth of a child in chapter 12 one who will rule with an iron scepter. some take this passage as a bizarre retelling of the birth of Jesus even though it talks about things that didn't happen to mary or Jesus, others talk about it being symbolic, that the woman is israel and the child is the church. i find neither of these explanations satisfactory but if u take the passage for what it is, then it is a prophecy of a new king, a king of heaven.

1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

Verse 1 simulates the dream of Joseph when his brothers sold him.
Verse 1 = Nation of Israel

Verse 2 is about an actual child being born, but in the SPIRITUAL MEANING of verse 2, it's about "Labor Pains" leading into the Great Tribulation (Daniel 12 and Enoch 1).

Verse 5 explains who this child is:

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

This is INDEED Yeshua.

Revelation 19:
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:

His family is Israel. Jacob, aka Israel, and the twelve boys make up the twelve tribes of Israel. Jesus will be the King of Kings one day ruling over Israel and the whole earth from Jerusalem on the throne of David as prophesied.

I disagree.. The one being spoken of is Jesus.. It is incredably dangerous to believe it is a new king.. The Antichrist will come into this world in the normal way of human beings.. Being born.. The Antichrist would use such a theory to proclaim himself as this new king..

Jesus is the King of Kings who will be ruling with an iron rod..

Revelation 12: KJV

5 "And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne."

Revelation 19: KJV

11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. {12} His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. {13} And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. {14} And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. {15} And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. {16} And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Note the King that will rule with an Iron Rod will come out of heaven with an army.. He will not be born as a baby on earth..

Rev 12
1And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2She was pregnant and crying out in the pain and agony of giving birth.

3Then another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon with seven heads, ten horns, and seven royal crowns on his heads. 4His tail swept a third of the stars from the sky, tossing them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman as she was about to give birth, ready to devour her child as soon as He was born.

5And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was caught up to God and to His throne. 6The woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place for her to be nourished for 1,260 days.

This passage is basically a showing of events which have occured through histroy and will culminate in the end

The woman is Israel

She gave birth to christ

Satan came after her, and will really come after her

God protects her

Thus satan turns to attack her offspring (the church or gentile believers)

Hmm not doubting, but does scripture say satan came after her first?

13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus [c]Christ.

So the child was pursued first then taken to the thrown, then the dragon tossed to earth then pursued the woman, but the earth helped her.

for one is a future prophesy in a book about the future, so how can the child be Jesus, two it talks about things happening that are not in the gospels, three why would john be reimagining the birth of Jesus in revelation.
