So some good news and bad news. I think my looong backsliding is finally over. But the bad news is after I was feeling fine and dandy I suddenly felt sooo very wrong and doubts and awful images swirled in my brain for a few minutes. Basically tonight I recomitted myself to God and finally was urged to say prayers again to stop my temptations (not just repent after I sinned) and it worked and I felt I should start focusing more on God take a long break from gaming and other such stuff and focus on him. Then while I was falling asleep doubt came back and the images and distubing stuff came back. Im assuming it the Devil doesnt like it im back on track but im fine now.

Yes, you definitely need to stop the gaming and those and all the other demonic stuff you've been doing. Glad to hear you're focusing on God again. :)

Well I dont agree all of its demonic I do agree I need to focus much more on God for sure. Unless God completely turns me away from it all than no problem there. Its definitly going to be a while before I pick up gaming for serioust or anything. I will make sure Gods fine with it before I do that being said I got a long ride to Ohio this morning. I got my bible and comp :)

When I first became Christian I would get demonic attacks while playing my (at the time) favorite game LoL.
I started researching more into the game and found it highly demonic.... Needless to say I do not play it today...

This leads me into something else though...
Not everything is demonic, not everything is Satan....
A lot of it is you, or I should say your flesh....

Imagine a heroin addict that is detoxing. The withdrawals, symptoms, side effects, cravings, etc. those are not necessarily from Satan... Now Satan can use those experiences to his advantage, but those experiences are from the flesh...
When you train your flesh to become attached to a very harmful yet addictive substance, the longer you were attached and the more harmful it is, the harder it is to tear away...

Now people like to quote ephesians 6 at times like this and say we do not war against the flesh and blood but against principalities...

I argue that they are jumping a step ahead to quickly...

Glatations 5:24
Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Ephesians 4:22
that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,
Colotions 3:5
Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.

So we can see with those verses your body is full of evil passions and will... This means your at war with your body, you have to fight it.... And you have to crucify the flesh with its passions and desires....
Notice, it does not talk about Satan, Demons, or others....
It talks about a person warring/battling with ones self in a fight to the death... Satan can influence this battle, but this battle started with you... and will end with you....

But just as Satan can influence, imagine how much God can influence... If a lowly creation can influence you, imagine how much the creator of everything including that creation can influence you...

This is the hardest battle you will ever fight in your life, and it is never ending...
Edit: never ending while we are here on this earth.... And we will have to fight it daily.

I will end with Christs words...

Luke 9:23-24
23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.

Walking with the Lord Jesus is like everything else, if you put little or no effort into it, you'll get little or nothing out!

James 4v6-8 states: "Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

You can find a couple of studies Here and Here that you should find helpful...

Satan does not like anything going God's way, because he hates Him, so your getting back on track with the Lord is not going to make the prince of this world very happy.

I don't like demonic attacks .. who does .. but they can actually be a sign of where we're really at in our walks and/or in our ministries, because the devil and his demons don't seem to waste much of their time on those of us who are living as lukewarm Christians. Why would they?

A book that really helped me begin to understand what was going on, IOW, begin to understand how the demons operated in my life and why, is a collection of short stories by C.S. Lewis called, The Screwtape Letters. It's a bit of an odd read because Lewis wrote all of these stories from the demons' POV (so, for instance, when God is referred to in this book, He is called "The Enemy" ;)). It's fictional, of course, but nothing has given me a better sense of what's going on behind the scenes (so to speak) in the unseen world all around us .. cf Ephesians 6:12, and helped me recognize demonic attacks for what they are, than Lewis', The Screwtape Letters has.

You can read it for free online here, but if you can afford to buy it in book form or on Kindle, the 50th Anniversary Edition (which you can find here) has a lot of additional/interesting material that makes Lewis' short story collection even more interesting than it already was :)

For what it's worth, these stories were first read by him live on the radio.
