Do we believe He can Keep us from stumbling, make us stand in the presence of His Glory blameless...

I do, He says so...

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
JUDE 1:24‭-‬25 NASB

Hi CharliRenee, your passage from Jude is one of my very favorites (y)(y) (thank you for posting a thread about it).

It reminds me of another, similar passage (which is clearly one of my favorites too, since I seem to quote it so often around here :)).

1 Thessalonians 5
23 May the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

The very One who saved us in the first place also preserves us the faith (to see us safely through this life to be with Him in Glory). He's the reason that we grow in Christlikeness, and He is the reason that we're able to persevere in the faith to the end .. e.g. Philippians 1:6, 2:13.

He does get all the glory :)

~Deut

Hebrews 7
25 He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Some like to quote the scripture that says If we love HIM we will keep HIS commandments and they are talking about the ten commandments and they don’t seem to realize that when they think they can keep any part of the Ten Commandments that they have to keep It perfectly or they have offended the whole law, before they would be considered righteous and we know that ALL that try to keep the Ten Commandments perfectly will come short of the glory of GOD.

If a person Is trying to keep the ten Commandments they are trying to help GOD which means they maybe Innocently but nevertheless they are trying to share In the glory of GOD.
GODs standard Is perfection while the best man can do Is carnal.

As a father myself I can tell you there are two parts to wisdom. First there is the knowledge or instruction and second the administration of the knowledge. Many Christians have the knowledge of what to do to keep them from stumbling, they just lack the application. His ability is subject to our obedience. Some may read these verses and assume God is like the training wheels on our life’s bike ride, but I disagree. My interpretation is more like he runs along side first holding the handlebars and seat and tells you to keep peddling. Then He lets go and runs beside you, instructing. “Stay straight, turn here. Faster. Slower. Slower. Brake. I said Brake!” CRASH! “Ok, let’s start again.”

Well, I think we do a disservice to our Lord when we grieve and quench the spirit. I think He works within to transform us, that it is His sufficiency that allows for change. When we lean on Him and His mercy we can grow. He gets all the Glory. This isn't about being perfect but trusting and believing in the One that is. Our lives should testify and show His work, His estate dwelling within. However sinless perfection is going to be impossible. Thank God for His Mercy.

Yes,GODs PERFECT work creating the REBORN spirit perfect and then a person will renew their mind which some call sanctification and to GOD be the glory In this progressive sanctification who equips the Born again Christian,JESUS the vine and we,the branches receiving sustenance from the VINE.

Well if we don't believe that...then what do we believe.
