Hope all is well with those facing the flooding ............ God bless you all

For all who worshiped God on Saturday, I pray you had a wonderful and blessed day of worship and praise.

For those of us who will gather this day to worship and praise God, may all be blessed! It is such a wonderful gift to be able to worship God our Father, and Christ our Lord, and to have the presence of the Holy Spirit fulfilling us as we do!

John 4:23 - But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Hebrews 13:15 - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.

Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Psalms 150:6 - Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

WE HAVE COME INTO THIS HOUSE
GATHERED IN HIS NAME TO WORSHIP HIM
WE HAVE COME INTO THIS HOUSE GATHERED IN HIS NAME
TO WORSHIP HIM
WE HAVE COME INTO THIS HOUSE
GATHERED IN HIS NAME TO WORSHIP CHRIST THE LORD
WORSHIP HIM, CHRIST THE LORD

God bless and keep each and every one!

Good Monday morning folks........... yeah, I know, can Monday morning ever be good? Well, for me it can.......cuz it's one more morning the Good Lord woke me up to live one more day in His Love and Grace!

Take a deep breath, and chug down a gallon or so of java, and go on out there to conquer the day!

Our church worshiped on a Monday...at our prayer meeting is this wrong?
I also worshiped on a friday at another church last week.

Is there any day that we just not meant to worship?

Not in my opinion...........we should worship and praise God every day of our lives. However, in keeping with the needs of the whole congregation, folks usually set aside one day as the day reserved for worship and praise of God. In our church, as with many others, we set aside Sunday based on Scripture as it was the day Christ was found to have risen and defeated death and the grave. It is the "first" day of the week, and that is recorded in Matthew, Mark and John as the day Christ was found to have risen..........and the day Scripture says the early Church and disciples gathered........

Acts 20:7) And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

It says they broke bread, so maybe its just the day they have communion or Lords supper. Not every gathering we break bread.

I just saw that rapper Nipsey Hussel was shot and killed. Damn that sucks, it's not some gang related stuff like many of ya'll are going to assume, he actually was doing great things for his community. This man prioritized his community over himself and material possessions. This isn’t just a loss for hip hop but this is a loss for his entire community. He had plans on not only opening his own store for people to get what they needed at an affordable price
But he also had aspirations of opening a barber shop, restaurant all for his community

I forgot that when you start a topic, everyones gonna pounce on you and say you really mean something else and then say the same thing you were saying anyway, except, they will claim they can say it better. Its like, they cant just agree, they have to disagree with something in the post just cos they didnt say it but then end up agreeing with it anyway...but in THEIR words.

Maybe its so they can see their avatar up the top. I dunno.

I am reminded of really loud people in meetings. Always talking over the top of the quieter ones and repeating what they say but just in their louder voices, because then they can get the credit while making you look like you didnt know what you were saying.

I mean, who does that? I found out, actually lots of people do that. And I Dont know why. :-( ?!

Every day is a day to worship.
This week I worshipped on saturday evening and skipped sunday gatherng ...I had a cold. So I worshipped in my bedroom. Mum and dad kept asking why wasnt I going to church.

On the day I have a cold, my friend rings me up wanting to go to church with me. And then I get invited to all these other things when I have a cold. But when I dont have a cold, nobody calls me inviting me out. Huh.

Did some cliff diving at Rick’s Cafe while we were in Jamaica. There were ledges to jump off of that ranged from 10 feet to 35 feet high.
