Tomorrow I leave... heavy sigh and tears are surfacing as I accept this reality. I am going home to my babies, my girls, the grand ones and my 3 furr babies, so I'm not all together sad. Leaving my Mississippi family, though... ouch ouch ouch.

Also, the country is just so healing...

Sitting outside my sister's house this morning, looking out at the lake and the horses, while listening to the windchimes respond to the on and off flow of sweet crisp air was so enchanting. I could also hear the sounds of a distant train, a particular sound that was close to my Daddy’s heart. Yes, the peace filled moments had the fingerprints of God’s shining Glory written all over it.

It was time to head back to my Mama's place, for a yummy egg salad sandwich, a particular favorite thing she makes. Before though, I’ll go ask God something. I walked down the beautiful meadow, to where I consider parking a tiny home next year. I walked to just the perfect place, where it would be nestled between two big trees, where I could see the lake and a bunch of trees from behind and the field of green grass and wildflowers, and my Papa and Mama in the front. It was perfect, beyond even. The temperature was also more than comfy, all the conditions on point.

I stood there and centered my inner dwellings as I planted my feet firmly in the soil beneath me. I raised my hands and said, “Lord, is this what you want for me?” Still as I could, when suddenly I felt my toes stinging, like crazy. Oh my goodness, what a powerful moment. God was telling me, so strongly, “MOVE NOW!!! Then, doh, I realized just how on fire my feet and lower legs were; finally, I looked down to see I had perched myself nicely on top of the biggest red fire ant hill I had ever seen.

Hahaha, whaaaaaa, and barrrooooo, lol, was the music to the fire ant dance that followed. Well, the moment was a little too good to be true anyway. I know one thing for sure, every itch will ensure more memories saved.

I'm not sure if the Lord has a facepalm at times but you know ;)

I see humor in experiences like that...Just wondering his perspective on the moment lol.

I was looking for some feedback one morning after staying up all night searching for an answer...I got to the point where I was just completely tapped and somewhat delirious.

Preface: The night before I had gone to the gas station to get a bag of funyuns at around 3am and I squished them in the door, so the bottom of the bag had popped open and I didn't realize it. I get in and the dog is following me around and I can't figure out why...I see, I am raining funyuns so I close the bag and eat it later.

So back to outside, I'm sitting in my car, lethargic/delirious, out of it. The Lord isn't going to answer me, but I'm still hopeful. I'm enjoying the morning at least and looking out for some type of signal/feedback. (I do think there are ways the Lord uses animals but not in an omen/sign kind of way).

So anyway, a crow is standing in the middle of the yard Cawwing. It always sounds like my name to me, and I'm asking...why is this bird here?!? Then it's looking in the grass for something and it finds it and flies off. What on earth? I then realized...OH the Funyuns from last night! Hehehe...then a hawk swoops down and is looking in the same place. The crow and the hawk alight on a branch nearby, then a sparrow also flies down (finds nothing and sits on the same branch). They are all just perched there. Odd. So I ask...What are they doing here? Answer: They came for funyuns... They then leave.

and it was almost like the Lord was waiting for me to get a punchline. I haven't ever felt anything like that before but it was pretty cool. I still giggle when I think about it.

I felt a little trolled because my situation seemed crucial but honestly it was mostly a battle against patience on the Lord's timing and a little humor after a rough night was like sweet medicine :)

I loved reading this all the way through, thank you. Haha, well i don't blame the feathered friends, funyuns are yummy, lol. I appreciate that you are looking and finding Him in all ways. Hey thanks for sharing that it really was an enjoyable read. I hope you found some rest though. God Bless you. A sparrow and a crow too, sitting together, how fun to watch. Nature and it's inhabitants are such an awesome gift from God.
