Hi. I came across this site & as you can see, by my name, I could use some help, now this will sound bad, but men have tried to help me before, but all they do is judge & say things that aren't relevant. I'd very much appreciate a woman's perspective & I have no ulterior motives for saying anything or asking questions. I just want honest, straight forward answers or discussion please.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you & as I stated, I've had men try to counsel me before, so please read my above post, I need a woman's perspective & I have no ulterior motives for saying anything. I'd appreciate some discussion or answers from women as men have been unable to help.

If you're a man, you shouldn't be asking women for help with this. If you're a woman-then carry on.

Welcome to Christian Chat. It is difficult for an outsider to have all of the answers for our problems and shortcomings. I can only say that you should just keep your mind on Jesus. What would He do in any certain situation. He sees everything we do or think. Indeed, He knows us better than we know ourselves. Just keep your mind on Him and pray. He is our Father and wants to help us if we invite Him into our lives.

There are some very caring people both men and women here at CC. God be with you.

Your mentioning twice that you have no ulterior motives about "needing a woman's perspective" gives me pause. My daughter-in-law Melita and I discussed this thread and we both agree: in matters of Christian accountability, men should receive counseling by men, and women counseling by women.

As women of God, that's our counsel to you.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say your porn addiction is with naked women and or women having sex.

Since women don't think like men, and since the object of your illicit desire is women, what could a woman say that could help your addiction to them?

It seems odd to me to ask for advice in this realm from women.

Welcome and glad you came to CC! You should post this in a diff forum for more responses. As when I gave up smoking & a drug, it was only when I desperately made up my mind, 100%, and pleaded w/the Lord for His help, did I give them up. God bless, I will pray for your deliverance.

Yes & I do believe in YESHUA & I know about deliverance & all that, this just comes back every now & again.

"Knowing 'about' deliverance'...to know of deliverance from something...here lies a profound
difference. Only ones own self shall ever know the truth of being delivered from a torment...
it has to be lived...believe it. By the grace of God...selfishness of self shall always be a stumbling
block in attempting to overcome things."

It’s good to seek counsel, but when it comes to the topic of sex, men should counsel men, and women should counsel women.

It doesn’t happen EVERY time, but it happens too often that one thing leads to another (adultery/fornication/etc) when someone seeks counsel from the opposite sex when it comes to this topic. People can get intimate emotionally, which can lead to the physical.

I am a men and I will say some things that are relevant. You tell me if you think they are too judgmental;

God loves you right now, despite your bondages and addictions.

God calls these things "sin".

Jesus gave his life to save you from the results of sin, to give you a clean slate, and to make a way for you to start a new life in Him.

All you have to do is to come to Him in humble contrition, confess and repent of your sin, and surrender all to Him.

I pray that you will not be offended by this and that you will join me so that we can fellowship and build one another up in Christ.

What we all need is God's perspective. Only He has the power to deliver from sin. Your lack of shame and your bold grasping out for my much beloved sisters does trouble me. I hope you realize who their Father is.

"And...from this side of the 'glass'...nothing personal to anyone, but I just seem to like to
view a profile pic. of the person I care to share with, plus a brief 'bio'... I have been counseled,
and last several years, have 'helped' men and women with personal experience sharing on
life in general...a face just seems like a friendly desire for a fellowship of sincerity and integrity...'to be'....:)
