What Can Mere Mortals Do To Me,

We stand firm in our faith as the power of God is
always our guide. Years ago I would question
myself when challenged by others but eventually
I became more self assured and trusted that God
was revealing the correct message to me. It is
actually saying that there is only one rigid truth but
the way we see and understand it and interpret it
is not the same. In my experience on chats in that
time, I realized people read the word just to know
it in order to intellectualize it so as to argue their
opinion. So I believe that we should read God's
word in order so we can follow His word to guide
and lead us through everyday life. So we should
remain confident in our trust for Him and disregard
the argumentative person. That doesn't mean we
should not listen to others, good things come from
many places but we should weigh all information
with our personal faith.

Another coincidence? This past week I have been meditating on "What can man do to us?" It is a good and worthy meditation. The time may come soon for all who are truly committed to the faith in our Lord may need to pray on this very matter. Keep always in the forefront of our minds that with our Father for us, who can be against us? Amen
