This may sound like a stupid question, but why are you desperate? Are you desperate to find a spouse or desperately lonely or just desperately bored?

Continuing with the theme, and these may sound stupid too, if you're desperate for a spouse can you determine why exactly? Or if it's not desperate for a spouse specifically, are you able to tell the difference between loneliness and intense boredom?
