No, it happened December 18th, 2018 over the Bering Sea. A few months ago.
The third largest explosion like the ones in Russia and kind of near there I think. Not sure where over the Bering Sea.
I believe it was a 2 Megaton Meteor blast. Must have been higher. And not seen by many way out there.
